Oksana Chaika took part in the international scientific conference on Challenges for General and Contrastive Linguistics
Today, 3 March 2020, Oksana Chaika, PhD, Associate Professor at the Chair for the Germanic and Romance Languages and Translation, has taken part in the international scientific conference on Challenges for General and Contrastive Linguistics, to commemorate the great professor and outstanding linguist Vasyl Luchyk.
The scholars from all over Ukraine arrived at the premises of the Kyiv Mohyla Academy to share their knowledge, scientific findings and insights to move the academia further. Ass. Prof. Chaika presented the research dedicated to terminology studies, emphasizing the key terminological aspects associated with structure of monomials in English for Audit and Accounting.
The research carried out views a classification of English audit and accounting terms closely connected with algebraic linguistics. The focus is laid on similarities found between the elements (terms) in the term cluster in English for Audit and Accounting and terms in an algebraic expression.
