Quarantine is not an obstacle: career guidance work of the department of English philology

On April 8, 2021, the department of English philology held an online conference dedicated to career guidance work at NULES of Ukraine at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy.


The event was attended by instructors of the department, entrants, their parents from different regions of Ukraine and special honored foreign guests. Instructors of the department spoke in detail about the benefits of studying, rich student life at the faculty of humanities and pedagogy.

Head of the department, doctor of pedagogical sciences, associate professor Dyomina V.V. focused on study opportunities in Poland, obtaining double diplomas, internships and internships abroad.


   

Associate professor Khrystyuk S.B. told about the specialties "International relations, public communications and regional studies", "Foreign philology" and the peculiarities of the organization of the educational process in NULES of Ukraine. A first-year student from Luhansk region, majoring in international relations, public communications and regional studies, shared her impressions of studying, how much the students changed her life, which shone with bright joyful events. It is gratifying that young people see the prospects for the development of our state through their knowledge, perseverance and tireless work.

 

  

Senior Lecturer of the department Rozhon I.Yu. presented the specialty "Journalism". Interesting creative projects, master classes with leading journalists of Ukraine, experienced mentors, meters of the Ukrainian school of announcers, such as Tetiana Tsymbal - all this is about the profession of a master of words and pen.

   

Senior lecturer of the department Klymenko L.V. stressed the importance of the specialty "Psychology", the demand for this profession in modern society, guaranteed employment. And also told about the wonderful tradition in NULES, which is more than 35 years old. We are talking about holding a creative competition "Holosiivska Vesna", in which the faculty of humanities and pedagogy has won prizes for several years in a row.


  

Associate professor Shanaeva-Tsymbal L.O. presented the specialty "Social work" and "Professional education". Socio-pedagogical assistance, support, protection and rehabilitation of all categories of the population is an urgent need of our society. That is why professional help, support and advice will change the fate of many people, both adults and children.

Qualified mentors of the scientific and pedagogical team are the key to the professional development of each student. The student majoring in "Physical culture and sports" shared his experience of student life: sports competitions, new sports achievements and achievements. After all, Ukraine is proud of its athletes, their strength of will and spirit!

Senior lecturer of the department Renska I.I. informed about scientific and creative life at the faculty. Conducting a competition of scientific works, Olympiads, International at All-Ukrainian scientific conferences, holding a week of English to Shakespeare's birthday: a competition of reciting poems in English, a competition of poetic and prose literary translation.

 

Head of the department Dyominf V.V. told about the cooperation with Pearson publishing house, Dinternal Education company in Ukraine, which conducts various seminars, webinars, workshops, provides the most modern educational and methodical literature, conducts classes with native speakers with students.
The guest of honor was Graham Jones, an international academic consultant, who in the second part of the event held a seminar with instructors of the department of English philology.

  

Thanks to the associate professor of the department Kachmarchyk S.H. managed to organize a wonderful interactive event, which was attended by like-minded people who are ready to develop, take an active part in the life of the university and beyond. And also all who share the opinion that receiving a quality education will ensure a happy future not only for one person, but for the whole of Ukraine.
