Students of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics participated in the “Five Rings of Sport” Cross-Fit Competitions
On November 28, 2019, competitions for the first year students of the Five Fellows of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics in the “Five Rings of Sport” Cross-Fit were held in the Karate Sports Hall of the NULES of Ukraine Sports Complex. The competition was organized by the head of the sports department of the student organization of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics, Adriana Lytyuk, with the aim of engaging students in systematic physical education and sports and maintaining a healthy lifestyle. The instructors at the stages of the competition were students of the Faculty for Humanities and Pedagogics Ilya Bondarchuk (MB 19001b) and Maksym Boyko (MB 18001b), judges - instructors of the Department of Physical Education Olena Otroshko and Ryma Dubovik.
Speed participants overcame an obstacle course that consisted of five strength-training exercises. Women: 1. Lifting up a stuffed ball weighing 5 kg (10 repetitions); 2. Burpi (10 repetitions); 3. Jumping rope (40 repetitions); 4. Plank - on straight arms and forearms (10 repetitions); 5. Press with a disk weight of 5 kg (10 repetitions). Men: 1. Weight lifting, weighing 16 kg, right and left hand (20 repetitions); 2. Burpi (20 repetitions); 3. Strikes with a paddle ball, weighing 8 kg, right and left feet (20 repetitions); 4. Plank - on straight arms and forearms (10 repetitions); 5. Press with a disk weight of 10 kg (10 repetitions).
All the exercises were extremely difficult to perform, but our freshmen handled the tasks perfectly and demonstrated good physical fitness and strong-willed skills.

Women: 1st Place - Veronika Hryhorieva (ПC 19001b);
2nd place - Daryna Salimonenko (CP 19001b);
3rd place - Sofia Shcherbyna (MB 19002b);
Men: 1st Place - Mykhailo Onyshko (MB 19002b);
2nd place – Evheniy Huz (MB 19003b);
3rd place - Illya Bondarchuk (MB 19001b).
