Adopting European experience

On June 7-8, 2017, the Jean Monnet Summer School "Tools, Policy and the Best Practices in Environmental Protection in the European Union: Challenges for Ukraine" was held at the National University of Food Technologies (Kyiv).
Representatives of various branches of industry, non-governmental organizations, teachers, and students of various educational institutions, as well as the Director of the National Center for Toxic Connections in the Environment (RECETOX) at the University of Masaryk (Brno, Czech Republic),  attended this summer school.
The participant of this event also was Associate Professor of the Department of Biochemistry named after Academician M.F. Gulyi O.V. Arnauta.

The summer school included lectures, presentations, discussions, and roundtables. Questions for discussion were: EU and Ukraine environmental policy, environmental situation, comparison of EU and Ukrainian environmental legislation, etc.
