V.Solomon is an author of more than 150 scientific papers, 12 patents, 6 textbooks, 4 scientific and practical recommendations, 26 methodological recommendations and guidelines, 1 methodological manual, 21 workbooks for laboratory classes.
He graduated with honours from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in 2003 and received the qualification of Doctor of Veterinary Medicine.
During his studies at the university, he completed an internship in the UK.
The research work of V.V. Solomon focuses on increasing the efficiency of disinfectants based on nanotechnology and the use of premixes of chelated compounds, particularly iron and cobalt glycinates, in animal feeding. V.V. Solomon is a recognized expert in disinfection, disinsection, and deratization at veterinary inspection and control sites.
He has been awarded an Honorary Certificate (Letter of Appreciation) by the Head of the Holosiivskyi District in Kyiv.

Zasekin D. graduated from Rozhysche Zooveterinary College (Volyn region) in 1973 and worked as a veterinary paramedic at the breeding farm "Melitopolskyi" in Zaporizhzhia region. After serving in the Soviet Army (1973-1975) and graduating from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (1976-1981), he worked as a dismissed secretary of the Komsomol organization with the rights of the district committee (1981-1984), later - as a graduate student, assistant and associate professor of the Biochemistry and Biotechnology Department of the Academy (1984 - 1998). From 1999 to 2001 - doctoral student of the Department of Animal Hygiene named after A.K. Skorokhodko of the National Agrarian University.
In October 1989 he defended his dissertation on "Acid-base balance and electrolyte composition of blood of newborn calves under normal condition and in case of acute digestive disorders" on the specialty 03.00.04 - Biochemistry, in the specialized scientific council at the All-Union Research Institute of Experimental Veterinary Medicine named after Ya.R. Kovalenko (Moscow).
On June 27, 2002 Zasekin D. defended his doctoral dissertation on the topic: "Monitoring of heavy metals in the environment of Ukraine and ways to reduce their excess in the body of animals" on the specialty 16.00.06 - animal hygiene and veterinary sanitation.
He received the title of associate professor in 1992 and the title of professor in 2003.
From 1991 to 1999 he headed the research and testing laboratory, which for the first time in the USSR was accredited at the university level for independence and competence. Today it is the Ukrainian Laboratory of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products. From 1999 to 2005 he worked part-time as the head of the production laboratory of the powerful poultry farm of Ukraine "Ruby Rose" (trademark "Morozivski Kurchata").
In 2005 he was elected as an academician of the National Academy of Higher Education Sciences of Ukraine.
From June 2005 to October 2012 - Head of the Department of Veterinary Sanitation and Hygiene of Livestock Products of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.
From 2012 to present - Director of the Research Institute of Animal Health, professor of the Department of Animal Hygiene and Sanitation named after professor A.K. Skorokhodko, and since 2020 - professor of the Department of Veterinary Hygiene named after prof. A.K. Skorokhodko.
Currently, Dmytro Zasekin is a member of two specialized scientific councils for the defense of doctoral dissertations, a member of the Academic and Coordinating Councils of the University, a member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, Chairman of the Scientific and Technical Council of the Animal Health Research Institute, a member of editorial board “Modern poultry in Ukraine”, “Veterinary Biotechnology”, “Animal Breeding in Ukraine”, “Ukrainian Journal of Veterinary Sciences” journals. For a long time, according to the Resolution of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, he was a member of the Codex Alimentarius Commission.
Zasekin D. has published almost 600 scientific and educational works. Among them: 1 textbook, 20 handbooks, 11 monographs, 1 VNTP-APC-23.06, 31 scientific and practical recommendations, 78 educational and methodical developments, 3 standard educational programs, 72 Patents of Ukraine, 5 TU of Ukraine, 214 articles and 160 theses reports.
Professor D.A. Zasekin teaches a course of lectures on disciplines: "Veterinary Sanitation and Hygiene", "Hygiene and Sanitation of Processing Enterprises", "Animal Hygiene", "Organization and Control of Sanitary Measures", etc., some special special lectures for students of the Faculty of Advanced Training and Master’s degree students of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He supervises theses of students, prepares masters, Phd students, doctoral candidates and applicants. He trained 2 doctors and 6 PhD in veterinary sciences.
Professor Zasekin D.A. actively works on the problem of scientific and methodological provision of sanitary and hygienic support for production, processing, storage and sale of livestock products in Ukraine. He is the head of a number of research topics carried out by scientists of the department in recent years: "To study the migration of stable strontium in the food chain of animals and develop a system to reduce its negative effects on the body and products", "Monitoring, veterinary control and measures to reduce heavy metals in the body of animals in the regions of Ukraine with their excess in the environment”, “To study the effect of nanosized particles of biogenic metals as new generation disinfectants on micro- and macroorganisms and on the environment”, “To develop a complex drug (briquette) of prolonged action to ensure milking cows health of different biogeochemical zones of Ukraine”, “To develop a system of veterinary and sanitary provision of organic poultry technology in Ukraine”, he takes an active part in scientific, scientific-practical, methodological conferences, seminars, symposia.
Honorary awards: he was awarded with state awards such as "Excellence in Agricultural Science and Education" (2008), "Badge of Honor" (2009), Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine "For services to the Ukrainian people" (2014), Gratitude of the Verkhovna Rada Committee on Science and Education (2018), the medal "For services to the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NULES of Ukraine" (2019), the medal of the NAS of Ukraine "For successes in scientific and pedagogical activities" (2019), Diplomas of NULES of Ukraine "For services to the NULES of Ukraine ”(2004, 2009, 2014, 2019) and others.
Research interests: monitoring of heavy metals content in the environment of Ukraine and ways to reduce its excess in animals; improvement and development of hygienic science in Ukraine. The priority direction of recent years of professor Zasekin D.A. is the development of a system of veterinary and sanitary provision and support of organic poultry in Ukraine.

Olga defended her PhD thesis in 1988 on the topic: "Veterinary and sanitary evaluation of milk for subclinical mastitis of cows", and her doctoral dissertation - in 1997 on the topic: "The role of some bacteria in reducing the quality of milk and the development of accelerated methods of veterinary and sanitary examination".
After graduation from the Veterinary Faculty of the Bila Tserkva Agricultural Institute (1983), she entered graduate studies (1983–1986) at the Department of Veterinary Expertise and Pathological Anatomy of the Bila Tserkva Agricultural Institute, scientific advisor - retired colonel of veterinary service, Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor J.S. Zagaevskii. In 1986 she began working at the same department as an assistant professor. She successfully defended her dissertation and was awarded a PhD degree in the specialty 16.00.06 - Veterinary Sanitation (1988). Olga worked as an assistant professor of the Department of Veterinary Expertise and Pathology of the Bila Tserkva Agricultural Institute (1986–1990), then - associate professor (1990–1998) of the Department of Veterinary Expertise and Pathology. In 1997 she defended her doctoral dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences in specialties 16.00.08 - animal hygiene, livestock products and veterinary expertise; 16.00.03 - veterinary microbiology, virology, epizootology, mycology and immunology (Russian Federation); 16.00.06 - veterinary sanitation and hygiene (Ukraine). Afterwards, she worked as a professor of the Department of Veterinary Expertise and Pathology of the Bila Tserkva State Agrarian University (1998–2000).
Since 2000 till present she has been working at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine (NULES of Ukraine). In 2000–2001 she worked as a professor of Pathological Anatomy and Veterinary Expertise, since 2001 - she headed the Department of Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise. She was awarded the academic title of professor in 2002.
After the reunion of the Department of Veterinary and Sanitary Expertise and the Department of Animal Hygiene and Sanitation named after prof. A.K. Skorokhodko, Olga works as a professor at the Department of Veterinary Hygiene named after prof. A.K. Skorokhodko.
Moreover, Olga worked part-time as acting Dean of the Faculty of Quality and Safety of Agricultural Products (2004–2006), Director of the Veterinary Examination, Sanitation and Hygiene of Livestock Products educational and scientific center (2006–2009). From 2001 to 2006 she was the chairman, and from 2007 - the deputy chairman of the specialized scientific council D 26.004.12 (now K 26.004.12) in NULES of Ukraine.
O.M. Yakubchak is a leading scientist in the field of food hygiene, including the safety and quality of animal products. Her main scientific works are aimed at studying the quality and safety of livestock products and their veterinary and sanitary assessment depending on the analysis of risks in the production, processing and circulation of livestock products.
O.M. Yakubchak is the author of more than 500 publications, including 34 textbooks, manuals and monographs, 24 regulations and more.
She has supervised 15 PhD candidates.
The activity of professor Yakubchak O.M. on the transformation of veterinary science and education in Ukraine deserves special attention. She is a leader in the implementation of new approaches to veterinary expertise, in particular the management of animal safety in accordance with the concept of HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) and harmonization of domestic sanitary and phytosanitary legislation. In this area, she actively trains not only students, research and teaching staff, but also inspectors of veterinary medicine, authorized veterinarians and more. This plays an important role in the harmonization of veterinary science, education and practice with world and European standards and the integration of veterinary and sanitary expertise of Ukraine into the international system. With her active participation, the specialty "Veterinary Hygiene, Sanitation and Expertise" was licensed, a specialty standard was prepared, curricula for new disciplines were developed, and methodological support, material and technical base were constantly prepared and updated.
Honorary awards: she has repeatedly been awarded diplomas of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine (2003, 2005, 2009) for her scientific and pedagogical activity, Acknowledgment of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine (2009), has an honorary award of UAAS (2007).

In 1975 he graduated from the Faculty of Zooengineering of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy. From 1975 to 1977 he was a research trainee, and from 1977 to 1980 he was a graduate student of the Department of Biochemistry of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy. After completion of graduate school and defending his dissertation for the PhD in Biological Sciences (O.V. Palladin Institute of Biochemistry of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, 1981), he worked as an assistant (1980-1986) and then as an associate professor (1986-1988) of the Biochemistry Department of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy. From 1988 to 1991 - he was a doctoral student of the Biochemistry Department, from 1991 to 1993 - associate professor, and from 1993 to 1996 - professor, Acting Head of the Department of Biochemistry and Biotechnology of the National Agrarian University. From 1995 to 1996, part-time acting Academician-Secretary of the Department of General Biology of UAAS. From February 1996 to March 2020, M.O. Zakharenko headed the Department of Zoohygiene, Design and Construction of Livestock Enterprises, and later - the Department of Animal Hygiene and Sanitation named after prof. A.K. Skorokhodko. From 1997 to 2001 he worked as a Dean of the Faculty of Zooengineering, from 2001 to 2008 - as a Director of the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Aquatic Bioresources, and from 2008 to 2009 - as a Director of the Research Institute of Production and Processing of Livestock and Fisheries at the National Agrarian University. Today M.O. Zakharenko is a professor of the Department of Veterinary Hygiene named after prof. A.K. Skorokhodko.
In 1993 he defended his dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Biological Sciences on the topic: "Mechanisms of metabolic disorders and methods of their correction in newborn calves'' at the specialized scientific council of the Institute of Animal Physiology and Biochemistry of NAAS. In 2003, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine, Professor M.O. Zakharenko was awarded with the honorary title of "Honored Worker of Education of Ukraine", and in 2007 was elected a corresponding member of NAAS of Ukraine. For a long time M.O. Zakharenko headed the SMC in the specialty Technology of production and processing of livestock products at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. With his participation, 2 new faculties and 4 departments, as well as 3 scientific laboratories were created at the university, the material and technical base of the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Aquatic Bioresources was developed.
M.O. Zakharenko is a co-author of more than 400 scientific papers, many of which have been published in the central scientific journals "Ukrainian Biochemical Journal", "Hydrobiological Journal", "Reports of the NAS of Ukraine". He is the author of 3 textbooks, 9 monographs, 2 manuals, 2 dictionaries, 9 state standards of Ukraine for bachelors and masters programs in technology of production and processing of livestock products and aquatic bioresources, 30 patents for inventions and copyright certificates, 16 educational and methodological developments, 12 basic programs of academic disciplines. He developed and introduced into production 4 new therapeutic and prophylactic drugs, 6 scientific and methodological recommendations, and 12 methodological developments in the educational process. He has supervised 3 Doctors and 10 PhD candidates in veterinary and agricultural sciences, guided scientific work of 3 graduate and masters students. Professor M.O. Zakharenko has established molecular mechanisms of metabolic disorders in newborn calves with acute digestive disorders, developed methods for their prevention and treatment, created new premixes for animals based on synthesized negligent compounds of trace elements, developed new sources of carotenoids, improved biotechnology of processing of animal by-products, developed methods for optimizing the conditions of keeping highly productive milking cows at extreme air temperatures. Professor M.O. Zakharenko is a Chairman of the Specialized Scientific Council D. 26.004.08, specialties 03.00.04 - Biochemistry (biological and veterinary sciences) and 16.00.06 - Animal hygiene and veterinary sanitation, member of the expert group for certification of scientific institutions at the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, chairman of the expert commission and member of the Academic Council of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, member of the editorial boards of a number of scientific publications.

 In 1991 she graduated with honors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of Kamyanets-Podilsky Agricultural Institute with a degree in Veterinary Medicine.
She began her career in 1991 as a veterinarian at the city station for the control of animal diseases in Kamyanets-Podilsky. From 1993 to 1997 she worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Ecology and Life Safety of Kamyanets-Podilsky Agricultural Institute, and from 2001 - assistant, and later on, from 2005 - as an associate professor of Department of Anatomy of Farm Animals named after academician V.G. Kasyanenko of NULES of Ukraine. Since 2010 she has been an associate professor, and since 2012, she has been a professor at the Department of Veterinary Hygiene named after professor A.K. Skorokhodko of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NULES of Ukraine.
In 2001 she defended her dissertation for PhD in specialty 16.00.02 "Pathology, oncology and morphology of animals" on the topic: "Age features of the structure of the skeleton of the stylo- and zeigopod of the American mink".
In 2010 she defended her dissertation for the degree of Doctor of Veterinary Sciences on the topic: "Regularities of morphogenesis of tubular bones of meat chickens in the postnatal period of ontogenesis".
Svitlana’s educational activities are related to the teaching of disciplines: "Veterinary expertise with the basics of technology and standardization of livestock products'' for Bachelor’s students, "Hygiene of food products of plant origin" and "Food safety and quality" for Master’s students; "Safety and quality of food and feed" for PhD students. She is responsible for the activities of the problem research laboratory of the department - "Food Hygiene".
Professor S.A. Tkachuk is the author and co-author of more than 245 scientific papers, including: 2 articles in Scopus and 4 in Web of Science; 44 methodical instructions; 9 monographs; 3 scientific and practical recommendations; 3 collections of normative legal acts; textbook and 9 manuals. Personal rating for 2019 is 2.30.
The scientific work of professor Tkachuk is related to solving problems of patterns of morphogenesis of the skeleton of the limbs of mammals and birds, as well as the safety and quality of food. In 1995 Larysa Shevchenko graduated with honors from the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of National Agrarian University (NAU) majoring in veterinary medicine. In 1996 she graduated from the NAU with a Master’s degree in veterinary medicine.
From January to October 1997, she worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Industrial Training at the Vorzel Beef Breeding Research Station.
From 1997 to 1999 she was a full-time graduate student at the Department of Animal Hygiene of NAU.
From 1999 to 2003 she worked as an assistant professor at the Department of Animal Hygiene named after A.K. Skorokhodko.

Based on the results of scientific research conducted by Shevchenko L.V., 30 patents for a utility model, including "Method of prevention of functional disorders of newborn calves" (2010), "Method of obtaining functional dairy products" (2010) were received. She is the co-author of 5 explanatory dictionaries; 34 theses; 8 textbooks; 12 scientific and practical recommendations for production; 1 standard program; 25 methodical manuals and 21 methodical instructions.
The results of scientific research, conducted by L.V. Shevchenko, were reported at meetings of the Coordination and Methodological Councils, conferences, presented at exhibitions, and widely implemented into production.
Shevchenko L.V. is a member of the specialized scientific councils D26.004.08 and D26.004.14, as well as the chairman of the Bioethics Commission of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine of NULES of Ukraine.

Under her guidance, more than 80 master's theses have been defended.
