NUBiP of Ukraine held an online conference with Bengbu University of the People's Republic of China

   On July 2, 2021, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine held a video conference with Bengbu University (Anhui Province of the People's Republic of China), which was aimed at strengthening international cooperation between the two educational establishments.

    The online meeting was organized in order to make a presentation on both institutions and to plan exchange programs for students and teachers.

    The video conference is a part of Memorandum of Cooperation signed last year between the universities with the assistance of the Ukrainian-Chinese Cultural Exchange Center, headed by Mr. Cheng Bing.
 

    The Chinese party was represented by Head of Foreign Affairs of Bengbu University, Shi Yushin, Deputy Head of the Office of Foreign Affairs, Zhou Chuanguan, Dean of the Faculty of Computing Hardware Zhang Jijun, Dean of the Faculty of Economics and Management Zhao Hongqian, Dean of the Faculty of Foreign Languages Zhao Shenshui, and around 1000 students of Bengbu University.

    NUBiP was represented by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work, International Activity and Development, Vadym Tkachuk, Dean of the Faculty of Information Technologies Olena Glazunova, Head of International Programs of the Faculty of Agricultural Management Olena Kovtun, Deputy Head of the ERC for International Activities, Volodymyr Afanasenko.
 

    During the meeting, the deans of both universities presented detailed information on the availability of education programs in English, prospects for organizing international projects involving joint research, exchange of teachers and students, creating joint curricula with the possibility of obtaining double diplomas.

   As a result, many Chinese students have expressed interest in studying at our university, and 22 graduates who have already received bachelor's degrees have applied for master programmes at NUBiP of Ukraine.

    The Chinese delegation also received an invitation to visit our university after the stabilization of the epidemiological situation in the world.
