Valentyn Karpovskyi is a well-known scientist in physiology and pathophysiology of animals. Born on June 28, 1955 in Bershad’, Vinnytsia region. After graduating from the Haysin Medical School and the service on the Baltic Fleet, he entered the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy, which graduated with honors in 1982 and received a qualification of a doctor of veterinary medicine. Defended the candidate's thesis in 1994 on the theme: "Pathology of metabolism in chronic poisoning of cattle with nitrates and methods of its prevention" on specialties 16.00.02 - pathology, oncology and morphology of animals and 16.00.04 - veterinary pharmacology with toxicology (scientific adviser - professor, academician of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine Khmelnytskyi G).
From 1982 to 1994 he worked as an assistant of the Department of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology of the Ukrainian State Agrarian University. Since 1995, he has been working as docent of the Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology, and at the same time he has served as deputy of dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. In October 2001 he was elected as head of the Department of Animal Physiology, and from June 2007 he was Head of the Department of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Immunology of Animals at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. During this period he worked as deputy of dean and then dean of the faculty of quality and safety of agricultural products.
The title of docent at the department of normal and pathological physiology was awarded in 1995. Doctor's thesis defended in 2011 on the topic: "Types of higher nervous activity of cattle and the nature of adaptation reactions to the action of external stimuli" on the specialties 16.00.02 - pathology, oncology and morphology of animals and 03.00.13 - physiology of humans and animals (scientific consultant - d.vet.sc, Professor, Corr. NAAS of Ukraine, Mazurkevych A.).
In 2012 he became the winner of the prize. C. Gzhytskyi and elected as academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine. The academic rank of the professor was awarded in 2013.
He is the author of 234 scientific and teaching works, including 23 patents, 7 monographs, 10 textbooks and manuals.
He is a member of the specialized academic councils for the protection of candidate and doctoral dissertations at the National University of Life Sciences and Natural Resources of Ukraine and the Lviv National University of Veterinary Medicine and Biotechnology named after S. Gzhytskyi, as well as the Association of Veterinary Pathologists of Ukraine and is a head of the Association of Veterinary Physiologists.
Karpovskyi Valentyn is the winner of the prize of  S. Gzhytskyi of National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, and also awarded the Diploma of Honor for special merits to the National Agrarian University, the Association of Specialists of Veterinary Medicine. He was awarded the Honorary Award "For a Significant Contribution to the Development of Veterinary Medicine of Small Pets in Ukraine", awarded by the Ministry of Internal Affairs Ukraine "For Cooperation".

Mazurkevych Anatoliy (September 18, 1940, village Travlyn, Shepetivskiy district, Khmelnytsk region) is a veterinarian. Dr. Vet Sc. (1993), prof. (1993), Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine (1995), Winner of the International Award "Friendship" (1996), Honored Worker of Science and Technology of Ukraine (1998), Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, awarded with the distinction of the American Biographical Institute by "Golden Medal for Ukraine" (2009).
He was trained at postgraduate studies (1968-1971) at the Department of Pharmacology and Parasitology  (scientific supervisor was Professor S. Bazhenov). After graduating from the postgraduate studies (1971), he successfully defended his dissertation with the award of the scientific degree of the candidate of veterinary sciences (1972), left to work at the NAU as an assistant (1971-1977), then a senior lecturer (1977-1978), docent (1978-1993), senior scientific worker (1988-1991), docent (1991-1993) of the Department of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology.
Studies conducted by him during the period from 1972 to 1993, as well as by his students, aimed at studying the changes in the body of ruminants, which arise under the influence of transformation products of urea and nitrates under physiological conditions and in conditions of acute and chronic intoxication of the body. The result of these researches were the basis of his dissertation for obtaining a scientific degree of the doctor of veterinary sciences on the theme: "Damaging factors and adaptive-compensatory reactions in the organism of cattle at experimental poisoning with nitrates and urea". According to the results of experimental research, new highly effective drugs (nitritoprotectors) for the prevention of nitrate poisoning have been developed.
In 1993 Mazurkevych Anatoliy successfully defended the dissertation with the awarding of a scientific degree of the doctor of veterinary sciences. In 1993 he headed the Department of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology and later - the newly established Department of Normal and Pathological Physiology (1993-2005). The academic title of the professor was given in 1993. He worked part-time as deputy of dean (1976-1984), dean of the faculty of veterinary medicine (1984-1988; 1994-2000).
From 2001 to 2008 he was elected as academician of the department of veterinary medicine of the UAAS, and part-time worked as professor of the department at National Agrarian University (NAU) (2005-2008).
From 2008 to 2010 he worked at NULES of Ukraine as a director of the Research Institute of Animal Health, vice-rector for scientific and innovative activities of the NULES of Ukraine (2010-2011), and as a part-time worked as professor of the department of physiology, pathophysiology and immunology of animals. Since 2011 and till now he is a professor of the Department of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Animal Immunology, a scientific leader of the problem scientific laboratory of physiology and experimental animal pathology.
Under the guidance of professor A. Mazurkevych 7 doctoral and 15 candidate's theses are protected.
During the last years the topics of scientific researches of the scientific school A. Mazurkevych seeks to study the properties of stem cells of animals, depending on the species of an animal, on the conditions of their obtaining, cultivating, storing and using in cell therapy to restore the structure of pathologically altered tissues of an animal organism.
A. Mazurkevych is the author or co-author of more than 330 scientific works, including 17 textbooks, manuals and monographs, the State Standard of Higher Education in the direction of "Veterinary Medicine", a number of recommendations of scientific, methodological, and scientific-practical content. Has 19 patents and author's certificates, is co-author of 3 new medicines registered in Ukraine.

Viktor O. Trokoz – is well-known scientist in the field of animal`s physiology. He was born in 1959 in Rivne region. After completion of secondary school, he had an admission into Ukrainian agricultural academy, which he completed in 1981 and he has got a qualification of zoo-engineer. His Phd thesis he defended in 1989 and the theme was: “The influence of mammalian gland massage on multiply fertility, milkiness and conditioned reflex activity of sows” and after completion he has got scientific level of Candidate of biological science that is equivalent to PhD level of education in specialty 03.00.13 – human and animal physiology. Scientific supervisor – Doctor of biological science, Professor V.V. Naumenko.
His rank of associate professor he got in 2005. His postdoctoral dissertation he defended in 2013 with the theme: “Stimulation of physiological processes by the bioactive substances of different origin” in specialty: 03.00.13 – human and animal physiology, scientific consultant – Doctor of veterinary science, Professor, Correspondent member of National Academy of Agricultural Science and Member Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine A.J. Mazurkevych. His rank of professor in department of Animal Physiology, Pathophysiology and Immunology assigned in 2014. In 2012 he became a laureate of S.Z. Gzhytsky prize and in 2014 he was elected as a member of Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine. From 1981 to 1986, he had been working an assistant professor of the department of animal physiology before he became a PhD student of that department in 1986 till 1987. From 1987 till 2003 he worked for Boyarka Forestry Scientific Center of National Agricultural University as a Senior Scientist and Head of the Forest Silk Laboratory. From 2003 till 2013 – associate professor of the department of Animal Physiology, Pathophysiology and Immunology of NULES and from 2013 till present time – professor of that department.
Dr., Prof. Viktor O. Trokoz is author of more than 500 scientific articles and teaching-methodological works as well as 112 patents (copyright certificates) for inventions, useful models, 7 monographs, 8 textbooks and manuals with neckline of Ministry of Agricultural Politics of Ukraine and Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, 3 educational programs for training of specialists of ‘Veterinary Medicine’, ‘Technology of production and processing of animal`s products’, ‘Forestry household’ and series of methodological works.
He is a member of P.G. Kostyuk Ukrainian Physiological Society and Association of Ukrainian Veterinary Physiologists, specialized academic council for the defense of candidates and doctors dissertations at National University of Life And Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. Under supervision of Dr., Prof. Viktor O. Trokoz 3 PhD dissertation were successfully defended in a specialty of 03.00.13 – Human and animal physiology (V. Shesterynska, P. Karpovskyi, V. Karpovskyi).
He was awarded an Honors Certificate for the merits before National University of Life and Environmental Science of Ukraine, laureate of S.Z. Gzhytsky prize of National academy of agricultural sciences of Ukraine. Furthermore, he was awarded with distinction of the National Committee of veterinary medicine of Ukraine “For the merits in development of veterinary medicine of Ukraine III level”, prized with Gold Medal of XXII International agricultural exhibition “AGRO-2010”.
Directions of the scientific researches and interests are physiology of higher nervous activity and lactation in domestic animals, physiology of useful insects, physiological bases for the use of biologically active substances.

Danilov Vasyl was born on October 3, 1961 in the village Ozero, Volodymyrets district, Rivne region.
From September 1, 1977, he entered at the Mlyniv zooveterinary technical school in Rivne region and graduated it in 1981, received a diploma of a junior specialist in veterinary medicine. During his studies at the technical school he performed a number of public orders, and for his excellent training and active social activities he received a "Lenin Scholarship".
After graduating from the technical school, he worked as the senior doctor of veterinary medicine of the collective farm "Zorya" (village Horpany, Mlyniv district, Rivne region).
From September 1, 1983 to July 14, 1988, he studied at the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy. After graduating from the Academy with honors from 1990 to 1993 he studied at full-time graduate school at the on the Department of Pharmacology and Pathophysiology. In 1993 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: "The exchange of substances between blood and tissues at the acute experimental poisoning of bulls with nitrates" and obtained a scientific degree of a candidate of veterinary sciences (scientific adviser – doctor of veterinary sciences, professor Mazurkevych A.)
After completing the postgraduate studies, he worked at the NULES of Ukraine as an assistant of the department, and since 1996 and currently works as an docent of the Department of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Immunology of animals. Teaches lessons for bachelors and masters in disciplines "Pathophysiology of animals", "Clinical pathophysiology", "Pathophysiology of higher nervous activity".
Danilov V. from 2001 till today - deputy of dean of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine. He also worked as Deputy of Chief Secretary of the University's Admissions Committee, Deputy of Vice-Rector for the activities of higher educational institutions of the I-III level of accreditation. In addition, he is the Secretary of the All-Ukrainian Society of Veterinary Pathologists since 1996.
Danilov V. is an author and co-author of more than 110 scientific works, more than 30 methodical instructions. Danilov V. together with the staff of the department actively works on the implementation of scientific topics related to the study of the properties of stem cells of animal origin in veterinary medicine.
Has awards: Diploma of the Head of the State Department of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine (1998), Diploma of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine (2006), Diploma of the Kyiv Mayor (2005), Honorary Diploma of the Rector of the NULES of Ukraine (2001), medal of the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine for services in veterinary medicine (2010).

Kladnytska Larysa entered the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy in 1988 and received a diploma on specialty "Veterinary Medicine" in 1993. From 1995 to 1998 she studied at full-time postgraduate study at the Department of Animal Physiology. She defended her dissertation in 1998 on the topic "Physiological response of the organism of dogs to various methods of antigenic irritation" and received the scientific degree of the candidate of veterinary sciences on the specialty 03.00.13 - physiology of humans and animals (scientific supervisor - doctor of biological sciences, professor V. Naumenko). She was awarded the title of docent at the Department of Animal Physiology in 2001.
During 1998-2001 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Animal Physiology at the National Agrarian University. Since 2001 she has been an associate professor of the Department of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Immunology of Animals at the NULES of Ukraine.
She is a member of the Ukrainian Physiological Society named after P.G. Kostiuk and the Orthopedic Committee of the Ukrainian Cynological Society for Dysplasia. She was awarded with the Honor Certificate of the State Committee of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine "For Services in the Development of Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine", and of NULES of Ukraine “For Services to the National University of Life and environmental Sciences of Ukraine”. She is the winner of the prize of S. Gzhytskyi of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine.
Kladnytska L. - the author of about 170 scientific and educational works, including 1 patent for the invention, 1 monograph, 6 textbooks and manuals, 3 training programs for the training of specialists in the areas of veterinary medicine and technology of production and processing of livestock products, a number of methodological works.
Currently conducts a doctoral dissertation "Functioning of the immune system of animals under the conditions of the action of allogeneic mesenchymal stem cells" (scientific consultant - Doctor of Vet. Science, professor, Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine, Academician of the Academy of Sciences of Higher Education Ukraine Mazurkevych A.

Krytsia Iana was born in 1981 in the Lugansk city. In 1998 she entered the Lugansk National Agricultural University on the specialty "Veterinary Medicine", which graduated with honors in 2003. From 2003 to 2006 Krytsia Iana studied at the post-graduate course on the Department of Animal Biology of the Lugansk National Agricultural University.
In 2007 under the direction of doctor of biology sciences, professor G. Katsi she defended his dissertation on the subject: "Immune status and its correction in horses of Purebreed and Ukrainian breed horses" on the specialty 03.00.13 - physiology of human and animals and obtained a scientific degree of a candidate of Veterinary sciences. Academic rank of Associate Professor was awarded in 2013.
From 2007 to 2008 Krytsia Iana worked as an Assistant of the department of technology of production of large livestock and beekeeping, from 2008 to 2013 - an Associate Professor of the technology of production and processing of livestock products at the Luhansk National Agricultural University. From 2013 to this time, she works as an Associate Professor of the Department of Physiology, Pathophysiology and Immunology of animals at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. She is the author of more than 60 scientific and teaching works, including 12 patents, 1 monograph.

Kovpak Vitaliy was born on June 15, 1980 in the village of Kobrynova Greblia of the Talniv district, Cherkassy region.
From 1998 to 2004 he was a student of the Veterinary Faculty of the National Agrarian University. After graduating from the University, he worked as a junior scientific worker at the Department for Coordination of Researches at the Institute of Veterinary Medicine of the UAAS, Kyiv.
From 1.09.2006 he was a postgraduate student of the department of physiology, pathophysiology and immunology of animals of NULES of Ukraine. After graduation he worked as a research worker at the same department. In June 16, 2010 he defended his Ph.D. thesis on the topic: "Biological properties of stem cells of animals depending on the method of their obtaining and species of an animals” under the direction of professor Mazurkevych A.
From 1.09.2011 to August 31, 2014 he worked as a senior lecturer at the department of physiology, pathophysiology and immunology of animals of NULES of Ukraine.
1.09.2014 he entered the doctoral program of the department of physiology, pathophysiology and immunology of animals of NULES of Ukraine. The theme of the dissertation is: "Morphological and functional changes in the pancreas during experimental diabetes mellitus in animals and methods of their recovery", scientific advisor - doctor of veterinary sciences, professor Mazurkevych A.
From 1.10.2014 till to date he works as a senior lecturer in the department of obstetrics, gynecology and biotechnology of reproduction of animals.

Kharkevych Yuriy was born in 1984 in the Rivne region. In 2001 he entered the Mlyniv State School of Veterinary Medicine, which graduated with honors in 2004. In the same year he entered the National Agrarian  University on the specialty "Veterinary Medicine", which also graduated with honors (2008). From 2008 to 2011 year Kharkevych Yuriy studied at the post-graduate course on the Department of physiology, pathophysiology and immunology of animals of NULES of Ukraine.
In 2012 under the direction of doctor of veterinary sciences, professor, corresponding member of the National Academy of Agrarian Sciences of Ukraine A. Mazurkevych he defended his dissertation on the subject: "Influence of mesenchymal stem cells and embryonic fibroblasts on the reparative processes in damaged skin of recipient animals (experimental data)" on the specialty 16.00.02 – pathology, oncology and morphology of animals and obtained a scientific degree of a candidate of veterinary sciences.
In 2011, after graduation Kharkevych Yuriy was enrolled as an assistant of the department of physiology, pathophysiology and immunology of animals. Kharkevych Y. teach the  laboratory and practical classes on disciplines "Pathophysiology of animals", "Veterinary immunology", "Theory and practice of using of stem cells in veterinary medicine", "Molecular mechanisms of cellular and humoral immunity of animals".
Kharkevych Y. is the administrator of the educational-information portal of the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and also responsible for the participation of the pedagogical staff of faculty in the Spartakiad "Health".
He is the author and co-author of more than 30 scientific works, 9 patents of Ukraine for utility model, 2 textbooks ("Cell technology in veterinary medicine" and "Veterinary immunology. Practice"), 1 monograph, and more than 10 methodological recommendations.
