III NATIONAL COORDINATION MEETING, FIELD / COMMAND STAFF TRAINING ON ENHANCING FIRE MANAGEMENT CAPACITY IN THE CHERNOBYL EXCLUSION ZONE
Staff of the Eastern Regional Fire Monitoring Center in collaboration with the US Forest Service conducted the IІІ National Coordination meeting, field / command staff training on enhancing fire management capacity in the chernobyl Exclusion Zone during the 13-16 March 2017.

Participants of the meeting were representatives of the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine, State Agency of Ukraine on the Exclusion Zone Management, State Emergency Service of Ukraine, State Nuclear Regulatory Inspectorate of Ukraine and other.
Implementation of decisions adopted at previous coordination meetings was analyzed.
Experts of the US Forest Service Beth Lund, Nikia Hernandez and Benji Hegg conducted training for fire safety for firefighting who work the exclusion zone.
Recall that the project also coordinates representative NULES of Ukraine – Dr. Prof. Serhiy Zibtsev. Head of the Regional Eastern European Fire Monitoring Center (REEFMC)
