Agricultural chemists held International conference «The Management of plants feeding and stress in modern technologies»
In order to exchange science and production experience and information in issues on managing plants feeding in a modern stressful environment Agricultural Chemistry and Quality of Plant Products Department named after O.I. Dushechkina of NUBiP of Ukraine together with LLC "Biotech Ltd", international companies such as «Syngenta» and HZPC held International scientific and practical conference " The Management of plants feeding and stress in modern technologies".
Speakers presented a theoretical information which had been confirmed practically about impcts of stress on plants and ways of controlling them using fertilizers and plant protection products. At practical classes resource saving technologies of potato growing were demonstrated. These technologies improve plant feeding and resistance in stressful environemnts.
The faculty of the laboratory of department of Optimization of plants feeding together with the faculty of the laboratory of “Ahrolab” demonstrated modern diagnostic tools for plants feeding. The work of laboratory of Optimization of plants feeding has interested research journal “Propozitsiia”. Head of the laboratory Oleksii Tarasenko gave an interview to this journal.
Conference participants actively discussed urgent issues on plants feeding and protection and possible ways to manage plant stress in modern plant technologies. Some specific attention was paid to the role of modern diagnostic tools for plant feeding and well-timed stress management of optimizing plants feeding. It was also stated that manufacturers and researchers must act together to enhance farmers of Ukraine’s income.
