Memorandum of Cooperation between NUBiP of Ukraine and Poznan University of Life Sciences (Poland) signed

Today, a meeting was held between the rector of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Professor Vadym TKACHUK, and the rector of the Poznan University of Life Sciences, Professor Krzysztof SZOSZKIEWICZ. Its purpose was to sign a Memorandum of Cooperation between the universities. The document outlines the intentions of the parties regarding the development of international, scientific and educational activities within the framework of the implementation of joint international projects, conducting scientific research, developing cooperation in agricultural production and training of specialists.
The memorandum provides for the implementation of academic mobility of students and lecturers, exchange of scientific publications, participation in international grant projects, as well as the organization of scientific and practical conferences and seminars. Special attention is paid to the development of innovative research and the introduction of advanced technologies into the educational process.



During the meeting, the heads of the universities discussed the state and prospects of both the educational process and scientific research in the main areas of the agricultural and industrial complex. A number of joint proposals for submitting applications for competitions of European grant programs were identified, and potential opportunities for the development of cooperation were considered.
Later, a meeting was held between the rector Vadym TKACHUK and the vice-rector for international cooperation, professor Karolina PAWLAK, who introduced the structure of the university, developments and achievements in the field of international activity. Detailed information about the structural divisions was provided by representatives of the faculties of: agriculture, horticulture and biotechnology (Wydział Rolnictwa, Ogrodnictwa i Biotechnologii), economics (Wydział Ekonomiczny), environmental engineering and mechanical engineering (Wydział Inżynierii Środowiska i Inżynierii Mechanicznej).




In his turn, the rector of NUBiP of Ukraine, Vadym TKACHUK, provided detailed information about our university, its glorious history, significant contribution to the development of the agrarian sector of the economy, about the structure of the university and a number of areas, among which the greatest attention was attracted by similar structural divisions of both universities and the achievements of the departments.



Cooperation within the framework of the signed memorandum would contribute to improving the quality of education, developing joint scientific research, and implementing innovative initiatives, which are key aspects of the activities of both higher education institutions.
