Long-awaited visit to the University of Life Sciences in Lublin
On February 17, 2025 delegation of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine headed by the rector Vadym Tkachuk paid a working visit to the University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Poland.
As part of the stay program, the head of our university met with his counterpart, the rector Krzysztof Kowalczyk, got acquainted with the training material and technical base, laboratories.
The University of Life Sciences in Lublin today consists of seven faculties, state-of-the-art laboratories, clinics and experimental farms that integrate the educational process in the agricultural, biological, veterinary, technical, economic and social sciences. The University of Life Sciences in Lublin manages 1,600 hectares of land. In recent years, the university has been replenished with the latest Center for innovation and introduction of new techniques and technologies in the field of agricultural engineering, an innovative Center for animal pathology and therapy, a research station and a didactic training Center for equestrian sports and hippotherapy. There are also modern complexes of demonstration educational and scientific laboratories of poultry farming, goat breeding, rare exotic animals, beekeeping, greenhouses, etc.
During the dialogue, university rectors agreed to step up cooperation on student exchange, hold joint scientific events, conferences, publications, and prepare applications for grants. The cooperation will be particularly fruitful for scientists in the fields of animal husbandry, veterinary medicine, food technology and engineering.
In the near future, an on-line meeting will be initiated between the administration and representatives of specialized faculties of both universities to discuss practical steps to develop cooperation.
