Intentions for collaboration between Tetra Tech and the National University of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine

The company’s mission is to enhance the quality of life by leveraging scientific research, technology, and innovation, supporting the creation of more resilient and sustainable communities.
Tetra Tech is involved in various projects in Ukraine, including those related to the detection and disposal of UXO (unexploded ordnance) and hazardous munitions. The company’s plans in Ukraine include establishing a training center for specialists in landmine clearance, UXO disposal, comprehensive scientific assessments for the reclamation of damaged areas, and the reintroduction of soils into agricultural production.
A working meeting was held between Gareth Hawkins, Deputy Mission Director of Tetra Tech in Ukraine (CWDSU) and Vadym Tkachuk, Rector of the National University of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine, to discuss the organization of educational and scientific cooperation between Tetra Tech and the university. During the meeting, potential areas for future collaboration were discussed.
