The Family of International Economists Welcomes Promising Students into Higher Education

On August 19, 2024, a new academic journey began for first-year students of the Bachelor's program in International Economics at the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, under the Department of Global Economy at the Faculty of Economics.
The day commenced at 12:00 PM with a meeting with the Rector of NUBiP, Vadym Anatoliyovych Tkachuk, who warmly welcomed the freshmen to the Faculty of Economics. He delivered an inspiring speech and wished the students success in their studies. The event also featured a speech by Tetiana Mykolaivna Hordiienko, head of the student senate at the Faculty of Economics, who shared insights about the organization's work, opportunities, and daily life.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Anatolii Dmytrovych Dibrova, extended his greetings to the students as they embarked on their independent journey within the walls of our university.
"Your first step toward success is inspiration, and the knowledge you gain here will be your primary tool in achieving your dreams," stated the Head of the Department of Global Economy, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Nataliia Mykhailivna Vdovenko.
As part of the first-year students' introduction to the internal regulations of NUBiP Ukraine, the group curator introduced the students to the university's website, class schedules, and guidelines for their use, as well as the process of future student life. The group elected a leader, Iryna Ihorivna Vorona, and her deputy, Artem Romanovych Skyba.
The curator of the first-year "International Economics" program, Doctor of Philosophy Anastasiia Hryhorivna Yatsun, warmly welcomed the students to the Department of Global Economy and introduced them to the AGMEMOD research laboratory.
After the meeting in room 307 of the 10th academic building, the curator guided the students around the university campus, showing them the academic buildings where their classes will be held and sharing insights about their upcoming student life.
