Oksana Zazymko was born on November 10, 1958 in Kyiv.
In 1976 she finished education at Kyiv secondary school with advanced study of the English language No. 42.
In 1981 she graduated from the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy (now the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine), majoring in “Agricultural Engineering” and obtaining qualification of engineer-mechanic.
From 1981 till 1986 Oksana Zazymko was a trainee-teacher at the Department of Tractors and Cars of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy.
In 198-1986 Oksana Zazymko was a graduate student of the Department of Construction Materials Technology and Material Study of the Ukrainian Agricultural Academy.
From 1986 till 1992 she worked as an assistant at the Department of Construction Materials Technology and Material Study of the National Agrarian University.
In February 1988 she defended her thesis for the degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences on “Patterns of mechanic-chemical processes in abrasive wear of steel” at Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers. The Specialized Scientific Council of Kiev Institute of Civil Aviation Engineers granted Oksana Zazymko the scientific degree of Candidate of Technical Sciences, specialty 05.02.04 - Friction and wear in machines.
In 1993 Oksana Zazymko obtained the rank of Associate Professor the Department of Construction Materials Technology and Material Study of the National Agrarian University.
Since 2003 she works as the Head of Educational Department of the National Agrarian University (since 30 October 2008 - National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine).
Oksana Zazymko published more than 200 scientific and educational works; she is the author of 3 manuals and textbooks on material study approved by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine and of more than 15 patents and certificates for inventions.
Oksana Zazymko was awarded with the Certificate of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine On Excellence in Education (2000), the Diploma of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine (2004), Diploma to the Kiev Mayor (2005), Sign of Honour of the Ministry of Agricultural Policy of Ukraine (2006).
She has the title "Honoured Scientist and Teacher of NULES of Ukraine” (2010) and the title of Master of Sports of the USSR.
