The department of Romance and Germanic languages and translation invited students of the Obolon district of Kyiv to study
On January 28, 2022, Oksana Tepla, associate professor of the department of Romance and Germanic languages and translation, visited the secondary school № 9 of Obolon district of Kyiv for the presentation of the specialty 035.041 "Philology (Germanic languages and literatures (translation included, first language is English)", In this school pupils start learning English and a second foreign language (Polish, French, German) from the 1st grade. Most students did not have any information about the University, so there were many questions. Oksana Tepla provided background information about the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, its location and infrastructure, reference to the University website, web pages of the faculty of humanities and pedagogy and the department of Romance and Germanic languages and translation.
Pupils were interested in the benefits of studying at NULES of Ukraine, in particular in the specialty 035.041 "Philology (German languages and literatures (translation included), first language is English)", opportunities for self-development in extracurricular activities, the availability of clubs, sports sections.
Pupils listened with special interest to the possibility of obtaining a "double diploma", internship abroad.
Associate professor Tepla O. invited pupils to participate in the All-Ukrainian Olympiad for vocational guidance of entrants on the basis of complete general secondary education, instructed on electronic registration, which will last until April 15, 2022.
An agreement on cooperation and organization of relations has been concluded between the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine and the Secondary School No. 9 in Obolonskyi District of Kyiv.
