Success of students of the specialty «Physical culture and sports» at the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship
From October 03 to 13, 2025, the Italian city of Jesolo hosted the ITF Taekwon-Do World Championship, which brought together athletes from 56 countries. The Ukrainian national team consisting of 100 athletes adequately represented our state on the world stage, taking 7th place in the team competition. The national team has won 7 gold, 16 silver and 23 bronze medals.
Among the participants of the national team were students of the specialty «Physical culture and sports» — Vadym and Viktoria DYACHENKO who made a significant contribution to the high result of the Ukrainian national team.
Vadym DYACHENKO performed in the discipline «Command tul» among men aged 18-34 years. Representatives from 9 countries of the world competed in this category, and the Ukrainian team won an honorary third place, winning a bronze medal.
Viktoria DYACHENKO showed excellent results in three team events of the program among juniors aged 16-17:

«Command tul» — 2nd place among 8 countries;

«Team special equipment» — 2nd place among 7 countries;

«Team sparring» — 2nd place among 10 countries, including a victory over the national team ofKorea, founder of Taekwon-Do ITF, with an account 6:2!
Thus, Viktoria became three-time silver medalist of the World Cup, and her brother Vadym — bronze medalist.
