NUBiP of Ukraine Receives PIX4Dmatic Pro Educational License from Swiss Company Pix4D
The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine continues to expand access to advanced digital technologies in geodesy and photogrammetry. Thanks to the university’s participation in the international exhibition and conference INTERGEO 2026, held on September 15-17, NUBiP of Ukraine has received a complimentary PIX4Dmatic Pro Educational license from the Swiss company Pix4D.
During INTERGEO 2026, Professor Taras IEVSIUKOV, Head of the Department of Geodesy and Cartography, held discussions with Pix4D representatives Flavio VITIELLO, Business Development EMEA, and Anastasiia RYLSKA, Sales Executive. The discussions resulted in an agreement to provide the university with the licensed software free of charge for educational and research purposes.
On September 29, 2026, an online meeting was held with Flavio VITIELLO, during which he confirmed the agreement and provided the university with the PIX4Dmatic Pro Educational license.
Pix4D is a Swiss company and a leading global developer of software solutions for photogrammetry and geospatial data processing. Its technologies enable users to digitize the real world and perform precise measurements based on images captured by drones, aircraft, smartphones, and other cameras.
PIX4Dmatic Pro is an advanced software solution designed for the photogrammetric processing of large image datasets. It enables users to generate orthophotomaps, dense point clouds, digital surface models, and 3D models of terrain and objects. The resulting data can be used for topographic surveying, mapping, land management, cadastral applications, area monitoring, and engineering studies.
The use of PIX4Dmatic Pro opens up new opportunities for undergraduate, master’s, and PhD students.
