NUBiP of Ukraine has become a full member of the International Association of Universities (IAU)

The National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine has officially joined the International Association of Universities (IAU), the world's largest network of higher education institutions operating under the auspices of UNESCO.

The relevant decision was confirmed by an official letter from the IAU Secretary General, Professor Hillighier van't Land, who announced the approval of the application of NUBiP of Ukraine for membership and congratulated the University on joining the global community of higher education institutions.


«We are pleased to welcome the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine as a full member of our global network. Your participation will contribute to the implementation of the IAU mission and the development of higher education in the world», the Association said in its official appeal.


The International Association of Universities brings together hundreds of universities and national associations of higher education institutions from all over the world. Founded in 1950 under the auspices of UNESCO, today IAU is one of the most authoritative international platforms for developing cooperation between universities, sharing best practices and shaping global higher education policies.


For NUBiP of Ukraine, membership opens up a number of new opportunities, in particular:

  • participation in the international network of universities and associations;
  • expanding partnerships with higher education institutions around the world;
  • access to professional resources, analytical materials and international research;
  • participation in conferences, forums, seminars and expert discussions;
  • exchange of experience on current trends in the development of university education;
  • strengthening the University's international visibility through the World Higher Education Database (WHED), which is supported by UNESCO.


Joining the International Association of Universities is another step in the implementation of the internationalization strategy of NUBiP of Ukraine and confirms the University's desire to be an active participant in the global academic space.


IAU membership will contribute to the development of new international partnerships, participation in global initiatives in the field of higher education, strengthening academic mobility and implementing joint educational and scientific projects with leading universities around the world.
