International partnership: NUBiP of Ukraine and Chongqing Technology and Business University (CTBU) are starting cooperation in educational and scientific activities

Vice-rector for scientific and pedagogical work and digital transformation Olena HLAZUNOVA and head of the department of international relations Maksym KLYMENKO made an official working visit to Chongqing Technology and Business University, CTBU, China.

CTBU — a leading state-run multidisciplinary university in China, with over 30,000 students, 22 faculties, and over 2,100 highly qualified teachers.

The program of the visit was extremely rich and focused on concrete practical results, in particular, reaching strategic agreements in the field of IT education, artificial intelligence and academic mobility.

As part of the trip, the Ukrainian delegation met officially with Vice President Qun BAI and other officials of CTBU University. During the meeting, the parties held a detailed presentation of both higher education institutions, discussed in detail the potential and identified key vectors of long-term cooperation in the educational and scientific spheres.

One of the most important practical results was the discussion of launching the double degree program for students of the educational degree «Bachelor» of CTBU University in the specialty «Computer science». In addition, other opportunities for potential cooperation were considered, in particular, projects for collaborative training, training of doctors of philosophy in the specialty «Economics» and joint scientific research.

Special attention was paid to innovations during the visit. The delegation of NUBiP of Ukraine held an intensive working meeting at the faculty of artificial intelligence of CTBU. Representatives of the University talked with faculty leaders and leading professors, got acquainted in detail with the content of Bachelor's degree programs and laboratory equipment of the Chinese University.

The official visit to Chongqing once again confirmed the high international status of NUBiP of Ukraine and its desire to develop the education of the future.
