The conference was co-organized by Purdue University (USA), ÜSKÜDAR University (Turkey) and University of Haripur (Pakistan).
In the course of the conference, socio-economic issues of agricultural development, problems of ensuring world food security and Ukraine's role in the global economy, EU practices in the development of socio-economic inclusion of youth, and current issues of socio-psychological science were discussed. These problems formed the basis of the work topics of the conference sections and allowed to initiate interesting and productive discussions.
Traditionally, the Eighth International Scientific and Practical Conference of Higher Education Graduates, Postgraduate Students and Young Scientists "The Role of Youth in the Development of the Agricultural Industry of Ukraine" was opened by Corresponding Member of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, Professor of the Production and Investment Management Department, Doctor of Economics, Prof. Lydiia Shynkaruk. Lidiia Shynkaruk congratulated all those present on the holiday celebrated in Ukraine on this day - Happy Vyshyvanka Day. By the way, such a holiday exists only in our country, because the embroidering on vyshyvankas contains the genetic code of our nation. Lidiia Shynkaruk expressed her belief that such holidays have a significant educational function, suggesting that in the future the conference should always be organized on the Vyshyvanka Day.
On behalf of the university management, the head of the scientific research department of the NULES of Ukraine, doctor of agricultural sciences, professor Volodymyr Otchenashko spoke. He congratulated the organizers and participants of the conference on behalf of the rector of NULES of Ukraine Academician Stanislav Nikolaienko, wishing success in their work. Despite the challenges in which we all have to live, it is necessary to continue to organize such events, because such conferences are specific platforms for the exchange of experiences and ideas for young people, scientists and practical leaders. Volodymyr Otchenashko expressed his gratitude to the organizers and participants of the conference.
Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy, Candidate of Philosophical Sciences, Associate Professor Inna Savytska said a few words about the importance and relevance of the training of young scientists. Inna Savytska reminded that this is already the eighth conference held jointly by the departments of the Faculty of Agrarian Management and the Faculty of Humanities and Pedagogy. Initially, it was an experiment initiated by Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor Lidiia Shynkaruk, who at that time was the founder and head of the Production and Investment Management Department, and Doctor of Pedagogical Sciences, Head of the Department of Social Work and Rehabilitation of NULES of Ukraine Iryna Sopivnyk. Dean of the Faculty of Agrarian Management, PhD (Economics), Associate Professor Anatolii Ostapchuk joined the words of his colleagues and, above all, expressed his gratitude to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for the fact that we all have the possibility to gather and hold such events. Today, we can observe significant changes in the world economy, because there is a redistribution of markets, which is accompanied by a shortage of qualified labor. In addition, in Ukraine, many men are currently called up to the ranks of the Armed Forces to protect the Motherland from enemies. In such conditions, it is quite difficult to continue work, but it is necessary. Such conferences are evidence of the fact that our university works and provides all important directions, including the scientific direction.
