Department of accounting and audit

Leading role in training of specialists at the university is accounting department. It has extensive experience and history of development, is leading on an economic faculty.

Professional accounting and economic science is complemented by a student scientific search by engaging students of economic faculty to write of degree works, and also participating of students and teachers of department in scientific conferences including international, national and university.

The department operates student scientific group “Accounting and audit”. The department formed a powerful team of highly skilled scientific and pedagogical staff of 25 teachers, including 4 professors, 14 associate professors, 4 senior professors and 7 assistants. The teachers of department participate in write a review of scientific works, candidate’s dissertations, abstracts of thesis, come forward as official opponents, three of them are members of specialized academic councils.

With the participation of scientific and teaching staff of department is publishing a all-Ukrainian monthly scientific and practical journal “Accounting in agriculture” and journal “Accounting and finance of agro-industrial complex”.

Scientific activity

The professors of department carry out a significant work on scientific certification of personnel, are members of the specialized and problem councils on defence of candidate’s dissertations of economically-oriented direction, coming forward as opponents of doctoral and candidate’s dissertations, prepared in many universities of Ukraine, heading state examination commissions of educational institutions.

The department conducted a thorough scientific research. An important part of activity is to prepare of candidates of sciences in specialty 08.00.09 “Accounting, analysis and audit (by types of economic activity)”.

Currently, the department trained 23 post-graduate students of full-time course and extra-mural studies.

Teachers, post-graduates and masters of department carrying out scientific researches on “Accounting and analytical providing of development of intraeconomic mechanisms for effective management of agricultural enterprises activity”.
