NUBiP of Ukraine confirmed its leadership positions in the state certification of scientific areas
According to the results of the state certification of scientific directions in higher education institutions, the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine received the highest rating — it was assigned to Group "A" in the area «Engineering and technology». This is the third highest assessment of scientific activity along with the areas «Agricultural and veterinary» and «Public».
This result shows the high level of scientific activity of the University, the impact of its developments on the development of advanced research, technologies, and the real sector of the country's economy. 213 scientists from 23 departments and institutes work within the area.

During the reporting period (2020-2024), the University implemented a number of fundamental and applied research in this area, in particular, innovative technologies for processing biomass and producing biofuels were created; digital advisory platforms and GIS solutions for the agricultural sector were developed; new energy efficiency and renewable energy systems were introduced; more than 200 protection documents for intellectual property rights were obtained; more than 26 mln UAH were attracted.
The result obtained confirms that engineering and technological area of NUBiP of Ukraine meets the highest standards of scientific research quality, the UN sustainable development goals, and the priorities of the European Green Deal.
