Rector of NUBiP of Ukraine Vadym TKACHUK participated in the inauguration of the 2026/2027 academic year at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences

On October 7, 2026, the Rector of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, Vadym TKACHUK, participated in the celebrations marking the beginning of the new 2026/2027 academic year at the Warsaw University of Life Sciences.

This year's inauguration holds special significance for the Polish university as it takes place in its 210th anniversary year. The ceremonies brought together representatives of state authorities, the diplomatic corps, the academic community of Poland and foreign countries, heads of universities, scientific institutions, organizations, and institutions related to agriculture, forestry, water resources, and economics.

The inauguration was opened by a long-time friend and partner of NUBiP of Ukraine — the rector of the Warsaw University of Life Sciences, Michał ZASADA. In his speech, he emphasized the key areas of the academic community's activities: sustainable development, climate and food security, environmental responsibility, and training specialists capable of responding to the modern challenges of the agricultural sector. They are shared with our university, and therefore became the subject of discussion and agreements regarding the further development of cooperation between the two higher education institutions.
