Department of Management named iin honer of Professor Y.S. Zavadsky (up to 1996. - Dept. of agriculture) as a separate branch was established in 1973.

Its founder and manager for 30 years was a Doctor of Economics, Professor., Honored Scientist of Ukraine Y.S. Zawadzki.

At the stage of the department of agricultural production course taught only at the Faculty of Economics and in 1974. - And on the other. In 70-90s in much of the learning process of the department held training for faculty training.

The Department maintains a close relationship with the production. Implementation of research into the production is carried out through publications, advisory support agricultural enterprises and associations, educational and research enterprises of NUBIP of Ukraine, academic and industrial conferences and research.
