DEPARTMENT OF STATISTICS AND ECONOMIC ANALYSIS

Department of statistics and economic analysis has come down from starting point its history from 1904 year when at agricultural branch office of Kyiv polytechnic institute was established Department of agricultural economy and statistics. Going different changes, in 1973 was built up modern Department of statistics and economic analysis. In different years it was managed: prof. V.V. Jurchyshin, assistant professor M.V. Stepanenko, and from 1989 manage of Department prof. V.K. Savchuk.

At the Department worked Doctors of economic science, Professors O.A. Bogutskiy, G.T. Lechenko, A.T. Oprja, Candidates of economic science, assistant professors V.M. Gherevchuk, , G.O. Kobzar, M.M. Pantelejchuk, M.V. Stepanenko, S.S. Fedorenko, assistant professor O.I. Bidij, senior lecturers S.G. Gorodnichenko and J.A. Tozkyi.

Department keeps courses of statistics studies, economic, financial, management, strategic and project analysis, econometrics, economic diagnostic, analysis and control, models and methods of taking decisions in analysis and audit.

Of the late year’s staff of Department published 2 books, 3 school appliances and 21 methodical developments.

Candidates of economic science, assistant professors V.M. Kraeskiy, L.D. Putjatina, O.I. Symonenko, A.V. Chuchlib, assistant M.M. Guz work at Social-economic and agrarian statistics issues and introduction results in educational process successfully.

At development of scientific base of methodology, organization and methodic of economic, financial, project and strategic analysis work Doctor of Economic Sciences, prof. V.K. Savchuk, candidates of economic science, senior lecturers: O.G. Makarchuk, A.O. Muzychenko, senior lecturer S.I. Atrochenko, candidates of economic science, assistants O.V. Bogdanjuk, M.D. Ganaba, T.V. Kuz, T.I. Ponomarenko.

Department realize preparing of cadres high qualification thought doctoral studies and postgraduate studies. Of the late years successfully defend thesis: M.I Bendera, T.M. Berdnikova, O.V. Bogdanjuk, M.D. Ganaba, L.J. Gudzinska, V.M. Kraevskiy, N.S. Kruchik, T.M. Lichter, O.G. Makarchuk, A.O. Muzychenko, O.L. Poljova, I.A. Tsvigun, O.D. Shevchuk, A.M. Shysh.

Nowadays scientist which make doctoral studies O.F. Kyryljuk and V.M. Kraevskyi, postgraduate students of Department are L.R. Voljak, V.S. Zabolotniy, T.S. Kineva, O.M. Kostenko, S.A. Krasnjukova, O.J. Lemyk, L.M. Rjabenko, B.S. Fedorchenko, A.M. Chorna, N.G. Zaruk.

By results of researches published 2 monographs and 61 articles.

Technical servicing of Department in different time has make officials: G/I/ Chevchenko, R.F. Plotnikova, L.E. Zaporochez, L.O. Jakimez, G.V. Zinchenko, N.M. Putkaljuk, J.I. Novak, N.I. Kyghlay, O.O. Barkova.
