 The leader of the master's program "Protection and reproduction of hydrobioresources and fisheries management" (production direction) associate professor I.Y. Kireeva

The main objective of the master's programme is to train specialists in environmental activities, which able to work in the Ministry of environmental protection or the State Committee of Fisheries of Ukraine, regional or district departments of fisheries, research institutions, state or private enterprises that are engaged in the cultivation, protection and reproduction of rare and endangered fish species, their introduction into the water reservoirs in order to restore biological diversity, increase bio- and fish productivity of aquatic ecosystems. The implementation of these measures is based on the scientific substantiation of the basic approaches to optimization of sustainable water management and using of aquatic resources and on the development of specific activities aimed to protect the aquatic biodiversity, enhancement and rational usage.

The leader of the master's programme "Hydrobiology" specialization "Biomonitoring of water reservoirs" (research direction) associate professor M.I. Khizhnyak

The main objective of the master's programme is to train specialists in Hydroecology, which are able to work in the Ministry of environmental protection, State Committee of Fisheries of Ukraine, the State Committee of Hydrometeorology, the State Committee of Fisheries of Ukraine, research institutions, public and private fish farms and other businesses that deal with the problems of water quality control and the condition of aquatic ecosystems of complex and fishery reservoirs, assessment and prediction of bio productivity of the water reservoirs in terms of the influence of natural and anthropogenic factors, as well as the development and implementation of management practices and water quality measures aimed to improve the bioproduction potential of the reservoirs.

The leader of the master's program "Ichthyofauna of multi-purpose reservoirs" (research direction) associate professor P.G. Shevchenko

The main objective of the master's programme is to train specialists in ichthyology, which are able to work in the Ministry of environmental protection or the State Committee of Fisheries of Ukraine, regional or district departments of fisheries, research institutions, public or private enterprises that are engaged in the cultivation and reproduction of native and naturalized species of fish, their introduction into the water reservoirs in order to restore biological diversity, increase bio- and fish productivity of aquatic ecosystems. The implementation of these measures is based on the scientific substantiation of the basic approaches to optimization of sustainable water management and using of aquatic resources and on the development of specific activities aimed to protect the aquatic biodiversity, enhancement and rational usage.

The leader of the master's programme "Decorative aquaculture"(production direction) associate professor P.G. Shevchenko

        The main objective of the master's programme is to train specialists in ornamental aquaculture, which are able to work in the Ministry of environmental protection or the State Committee of fisheries of Ukraine, research institutions, state or private enterprises that are engaged in the cultivation and reproduction of ornamental aquaculture facilities, their introduction into the ornamental ponds or aquarium system with the aim of improving the aesthetic, cognitive, and microclimatic environment. The implementation of these measures is based on the rationale of the main approaches to the maintenance of decorative aquaculture.
