Educational work
Department of Hydrobiology and Ichthyology provides the teaching of main disciplines in the hydroecological direction, all types of training, methodical and educational work for bachelors and masters. Studying at the Department students learning the directions, methods and means of processes control associated with the formation of water quality, acquainted with the peculiarities of the existence aquatic plants and animals, with physiological and biochemical processes in organisms of aquatic organisms. In addition students learn the numbers of the existing stock for biological resources in internal reservoirs of Ukraine, their protection and usage, as well as learn the basics of the fisheries legislation of Ukraine and international fisheries law. After the bachelor graduating the graduates can continue their education in master's programs "Protection and usage of hydrobiological resources", "Reproduction of hydrobiological resources", "Hydrobiology", "Ichthyofauna of complex fishery reservoirs" and "Decorative aquaculture".
