The second kick-off meeting LIFE22-NS4nZEBs
Subprogram LIFE-CET aims to facilitate the transition to an energy-efficient, based on renewable energy sources, climate-neutral and Sustainable Economy by coordinating funding and support activities across Europe.
The key task of the program is the implementation of the European Union's clean energy policy and filling the gaps between development and Policy Integration on Energy Efficiency and Renewable Energy Sources.
According to the Consortium Agreement the second kick-off meeting of participants took place in Padova (Italy) as a part of project «New Skills for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings». The project is aimed at training and retraining specialists in the use of smart photovoltaic, thermal, hydrogen systems in buildings at all levels of design, operation and maintenance.

Speakers include – Project Coordinator Paul De Schepper, «The Knowledge Centre for Energy-related research», Thomas More (TMU), Belgium; Nina Nikolova, Sdruzhenie Kamara Na Instalatorite V Bulgariya, Bulgaria; Evelina Stoykova, Sofia Energy Centre (SEC), Bulgaria;; Darko Kramer and Marta Garcia, Ecoserveis, Spain; Georgia Veziryianni «Centre for renewable energy sources and savings» (CRES), Greece; Svitlana Makarevych and Olena Shelimanova, Education and Research Institute of Energetics, Automatics and Energy saving, National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine.

Each of the participating teams presented the results of the work package and proposals for further implementation of the project. The project coordinators noted the high-quality and timely implementation of all activities by the partners of NULES of Ukraine.

During the meeting, it was agreed a general Report on the Work Package, which was related to the stakeholder engagement study. A plan for the Strategy for Sustainability, replication, use and dissemination of project results has been formed. The tasks for the creation of an online platform, the content of training programs for trainers and specialists are outlined. The dates and venue of the next meeting have been agreed; The deadlines for the implementation of the next work packages have been set.
The host party hospitably invited all participants to visit Fenice Green Energy Park. Fondazione Fenice Onlus (Headquartered in Green Energy Park, Veneto Region), an accredited training center that trains specialists in the field of energy and environment with a focus on continuous study of topics, related to the smart and circular economy, new professions, innovative technologies.
