The Round table: "New Skills for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings".

In the Educational and Research Institute of Energetics, Automatics and Energy Saving hosted a Round table dedicated to the implementation the tasks of Project LIFE22-CET-NS4nZEBs «New Skills for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings». The project is aimed at training and retraining specialists in the use of smart photovoltaic, thermal, hydrogen systems in buildings at all levels of design, operation and maintenance. International and Ukrainian partners were invited to the event, namely: THOMAS MORE KEMPEN, SOFIA ENERGY CENTRE, Association of Energy Auditors of Ukraine, LTD «Electrotechnical company E-NEXT Ukraine».

The purpose of the event was to discuss the problem of improving the professional training specialists, modern training programs, innovative training methods and their compliance with the needs of the labor market - specialists in the field of electric power systems with RES, with smart electrical systems, with the use of heat pump and hydrogen technologies in buildings at all levels of design , operation and maintenance. After all, the ability to solve problems and innovate is an in-demand skill for employers in all areas of the global world.

The round table was held in a mixed format, which was attended by employers, recruiting companies, installers and representatives of vocational education institutions, a total of about 60 people.

Viktor Kaplun greeted the participants by the occasion of event. The speaker focused on the relevance of the Project in the educational space. in terms of training. The priority areas of the LIFE - CLEAN ENERGY TRANSITION (CET) program with the support of the European Union are the green transformation strategies, the energy union (energy and climate goals until 2030) and the long-term European Union Decarbonization Strategy until 2050. Graduates of vocational and vocational education and interested parties will be expected in the labor market. The implementation of the Project will contribute to the improvement the curricula and practices for the training specialists.

Svitlana Makarevych informed the audience about the tasks and program of the Project. The implementation of the Project's objectives will allow national providers of vocational education, stakeholders to update their practices and training programs, through adapted, innovative and technical solutions in the field in buildings with nearly zero energy consumption. This will contribute to a gradual reduction in dependence on fossil fuel imports.

Information on national legislation in the field of energy efficiency in buildings was told to the audience by Vadym Lytvyn, Chairman of the Board of the Association of Energy Auditors of Ukraine. The speaker noted that knowledge of the provisions of standards in this area is key in the training and professional certification of energy auditors. The speaker noted that high-quality, innovative, unified training of future RES specialists is the key to the development of the country's energy independence.

Olena Shelimanova shared information on the professional standards of the training programs for the Bachelor's degree in the specialty 144 - Thermal Power Engineering in framework of the formation human resources. The main message of the report was the words about the need to be able to learn. It is an effective use of all the resources: intelligence, attention, perception, memory, reproduction, thinking, the ability to successfully solve problem situations, plan your time and achieve your goals.

Andrii Bereziuk reported the results of the survey of stakeholders and VET providers on the review of the current state of energy efficiency in the building sector in Ukraine. The results of the survey and their discussion were the basis of the draft decision of the Round table on improving training programs for target groups, installers of energy-efficient buildings and training for trainers.

At the end of the meeting, the director of the institute Viktor Kaplun noted that energy efficiency is becoming the defining direction of Ukraine's "green" energy transition - climate-neutral development.
