The Project LIFE22-CET-NS4nZEBs is a trend of innovations in energy sector

For the 77-th time meeting of the section "Energy Supply Systems" within the framework of the scientific and practical conference of students "Power Supply, Electrical Technologies, Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control Systems in the Agro-Industrial Complex" was held.

The event was attended by students, teachers, young scientists of the institute community.

The purpose of the conference is to maintain ties in the scientific field among students, postgraduates, approbation, presentation, discussion and use of the results of scientific research in educational and production processes.

Head of the section, Doctor of Technical Sciences, prof. Valeriy Gorobets addressed the participants of the conference with a welcoming speech and noted that the practice of holding such events allows participants to gain important experience of speeches, which will help them in the defense of future bachelor's, master's and dissertation theses.

An interesting report on the topic: "Solar panels in space and on the ground" accompanied by presentation material was presented. Natalia Shyroka, 1st year student (supervisor, Ph.D., Assoc. Prof. Оlena Shelimanova).

Master's students Yuri Gorobets, Illarion Chaika, Ilya Deker, Maksym Sydorenko, Pavlo Olender, Valery Gutsal were particularly active; fourth-year and short-term students Maksym Honcharuk, Vladyslav Herasymchuk.

The speeches concerned topical issues in the context of the energy sector, namely: methods of reducing heat losses in buildings, studies of the influence of dynamically changing asymmetry and deviation of the supply voltage of an induction motor on the sensitivity of the diagnostic system when a turn circuit in stator windings is detected, Modernization of power supply systems, improving the reliability of electrical equipment, etc.

Assistant professor Department Engineering of Power Systems Svitlana Makarevych provided the report «Skills for new and existing nearly Zero Energy Buildings (nZEBs) and bridging the gap towards Zero Emission Buildings (ZEBs)» and the information about the progress of the Project «New Skills for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings». The project aims to prepare and retraining of specialists in the use of "smart" photovoltaic, heat and hydrogen systems in buildings at all levels of design, operation and maintenance.

Most of the reports were distinguished by an interesting formulation and solution of the research problem, were interesting for discussion and relevant in the field of electrical engineering.

Scientific and Practical Conference of Students and Young Scientists "Power Supply, Electrical Technologies, Electrical Engineering and Intelligent Control Systems in the Agro-Industrial Complex" demonstrated the good potential of student science. This is the key to completing the contingent of postgraduate students in the Institute.
