Dnipropetrovsk oblast: firefighters suppress fires in open areas of the region

Today, on September 12, at 10:35 am, the Rescue Service "101" received a report that dry grass was burning in the city of Pavlograd near Pavlova street. The 27th State Fire and Rescue Unit of the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region was sent to the scene. Upon arrival, rescuers began suppressing the fire on a total area of 4.5 hectares. The fire burned dry grass. At 12:47 the fire was suppressed.

At 10:36 am, firefighters of the 49th State Fire and Rescue Unit were involved in suppressing a fire outside the village of Lychkove, Magdalinivskyi Raion. Dry grass fires were localized at 11:24 and eliminated at 14:23. The fire destroyed 3 hectares of dry vegetation.

At 11:30 am, officers of the 47th State Fire and Rescue Unit were involved in suppressing a fire in a field in the Petropavlovsk Raion outside the village of Sydorenko. Stubble was burning in a field with a total area of 3 hectares. The fire was localized at 12:57 and suppressed at 15:03. In the same area, outside the village of Olifirivka, State Emergency Service officers suppressed a fire of dry grass on a total area of 4 hectares. The fire was localized at 15:15 and suppressed at 16:29.

On the same day, at 12:01, a report was received of a fire of dry grass outside the village of Mykhailivka, Apostolov Raion. According to the report, tthe 51st state Fire and Rescue Unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region was sent. Upon arrival, rescuers found that in field dry grass was burning . The fire burned dry grass on a total area of 4.8 hectares. The fire was localized at 13:15 and suppressed at 14:17.

In the Pyatihatsky Raion in the village of Saksagan near Beregova street, firefighters of the 54th State Fire and Rescue Unit were involved in suppressing a fire in the ecosystem. Dry grass and reeds was burned on a total area of 4.5 hectares. At 17:27 the fire was suppressed.

At 1:13 pm, the 101 Rescue Service received a report of a fire in the town of Dnipro, Chechelivskyi Raion, on Malakhova Street. The 5th Fire and Rescue Unit of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the region was sent to the scene. Upon arrival at the scene of the fire, State Emergency Service specialists found that dry grass had caught fire in an open area, approximately on an area of ​​0.7 ha. In a short time, the fire began to spread and threatened private homes. In order to prevent further spread of flames and supply of water to the place of fire, additional units of the 2nd and 4th State Fire and Rescue Units were additionally sent. The fire destroyed dry grass on a total area of ​​1 hectare. The fire was localized at 15:20 and suppressed at 15:32.

Employees of the 67th State Fire and Rescue Unit were involved in the fire in the Yurivka Raion outside the village of Yurivka. The fire burned dry grass on an area of 2 hectares. The fire was suppressed.
