Department of Analytical and Bioinorganic Chemistry and Water Quality
The Department of Analytical and Bioinorganic Chemistry and Water Quality is a structural unit of the Agrobiological Faculty and provides training for Bachelor's and Master's degree students. The department carries out all types of educational, scientific, methodological, and extracurricular activities, organizes practical training for students, and also participates in the training of research staff through postgraduate studies in the specialty "Chemistry". The educational process is supported by modern standard curricula, teaching materials, e-courses, and specialized laboratories of analytical, inorganic, bioinorganic chemistry, and water quality.
The research activities of the department are focused on the synthesis and study of the properties of phosphates and bioinorganic compounds, investigation of their biological activity, development of nanobiomaterials for agricultural production, as well as the improvement of electrochemical methods for the analysis of elements in environmental objects. Special attention is paid to monitoring and assessing water quality, developing instruments and methods for controlling pollutants, and implementing applied research.
The department maintains active educational and scientific cooperation with university units and specialized research institutions, fosters student research activities, and ensures student participation in professional clubs and research projects. The results of the department's research are implemented in the educational process and in the practice of agricultural production and environmental monitoring.
