Copilot project presentation at the International Conference on Engineering and Technology
On April 23-24, 2026, an international scientific and practical conference “Current issues of agricultural engineering, electrical engineering and transport technologies in the environmental management system” was held at the Nizhyn Agrotechnical Institute of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine. The event brought together representatives of the scientific community, educators, and industry specialists to discuss current challenges and prospects for technological development across various production sectors. The first speaker at the plenary session, Prof. Yuriy Romasevych, presented a report titled “Artificial neural network technologies and their applications in engineering”. The speaker emphasized that the research that underpinned his report was conducted within the framework of the international Copilot project.
The speech highlighted modern approaches to using artificial neural networks for data analysis in engineering systems, forecasting dynamic processes, optimizing technological solutions, and automating production tasks (particularly in robotics, green technologies, digitalization, and agriculture). The role of tools developed within the Copilot project in increasing the efficiency of engineering processes and in implementing digital technologies in practical activities was separately highlighted.
The conference was held in a remote format on Zoom and served as an important venue for exchanging scientific results and developing international cooperation.
An electronic collection of abstracts will be published following the event, further disseminating scientific developments.
Виступ у рамках проєкту Copilot на міжнародній конференції з інженерії та технологій
23-24 квітня 2026 року на базі Ніжинського агротехнічного інституту Національного університету біоресурсів і природокористування України відбулася міжнародна науково-практична конференція «Актуальні питання агроінженерії, електричної інженерії і транспортних технологій в системі природокористування». Захід об’єднав представників наукової спільноти, освітян та фахівців галузі для обговорення сучасних викликів і перспектив розвитку технологій у різних галузях виробничої діяльності. Перший доповідач на пленарному засіданні – проф. Юрій Ромасевич представив доповідь на тему «Технології штучних нейронних мереж та їх застосування у галузі інженерії». Особливу увагу доповідач приділив тому, що дослідження, які лягли в основу його доповіді, виконані у межах міжнародного проєкту Copilot.
Під час виступу було висвітлено сучасні підходи до використання штучних нейронних мереж для аналізу даних в інженерних системах, прогнозування динамічних процесів, оптимізації технологічних рішень та автоматизації виробничих задач (зокрема, у галузі робототехніки, зелених технологій, цифровізації, сільського господарства тощо). Окремо висвітлено роль інструментів, що розробляються в рамках проєкту Copilot, у підвищенні ефективності інженерних процесів та впровадженні цифрових технологій у практичну діяльність.
Конференція проходила у дистанційному форматі на платформі Zoom і стала важливим майданчиком для обміну науковими результатами та розвитку міжнародної співпраці.
За результатами заходу буде опубліковано електронний збірник тез доповідей, що сприятиме подальшому поширенню наукових напрацювань.
