LIFE22-CET-NS4nZEBs - New Skills for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings: Implementing New Skills among VET provider
The issue of updating and improving the energy efficiency of residential buildings becomes especially relevant in the modern realities of Ukraine, when, under difficult conditions, it is necessary to maintain normalized microclimate parameters both in residential buildings and in the premises of educational institutions.
Within the framework of advanced training courses at the Institute of Energy, Automation and Energy Saving of the National University of Life and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine, college teachers improved their knowledge of energy efficiency in buildings.

"New Skills in the Arrangement of Public Buildings with Almost Zero Energy Consumption" was conducted by Olena Shelimanova, Associate Professor of the Department of Power System Engineering.
In the report, accompanied by the presentation material, she presented the main provisions of the Project. LIFE22-CET-NS4nZEBs - New Skills for Nearly Zero Energy Buildings. The implementation of which was attended by the staff of the Institute.
The project aims to increase the number of qualified specialists in the field of energy systems based on renewable energy sources (RES) in buildings. The implementation of its tasks will allow national vocational education providers to update methods and training programs in the field of energy supply of buildings, promoting the introduction of technologies with almost Zero Energy Consumption. After all, this will be an important step in reducing the country's dependence on fossil fuel imports and ensuring energy independence.

The participants of the courses also received practical recommendations on the implementation of energy efficiency principles in educational institutions and public buildings, as well as learned about modern trends in the field of energy audit and management.
Along the way, Olena Shelimanova invited college teachers to take part in the national training, which will be held next fall within the framework of the Project. This event will be a unique platform for exchanging experience and getting acquainted with new approaches to creating energy-efficient buildings.
