Lecturer Tetiana Vozniuk
The department hosts the Research Laboratory of Scientific and Technical Translation, which organizes and conducts scientific seminars, conferences, and meetings with leading scholars on translation issues. It also facilitates meetings of club members to discuss current matters related to the translation of specialized texts, develops recommendations for improving the translation process of agricultural and technical texts, standardizes industry-specific terminology, and applies research findings to the teaching of English in agricultural and technical higher education institutions.
Services of the Research Laboratory of Scientific and Technical Translation
The laboratory is equipped with the TRADOS automated translation system.
It employs one Doctor of Sciences and eight Candidates of Sciences.
Additional research and service capabilities are enhanced by the SDL MultiTerm module,
which facilitates work with terminology.
