Club sessions in the 2024-2025 Academic Year

To learn a foreign language as a means of communication, it is essential to create conditions for real-life communication and actively use the language in natural situations.

Senior Lecturer Mykola Koromysel from the Department of English for Technical and Agrobiological Specialties conducted a series of club sessions in  the NULES Botanical Garden for student participants.

A relaxed atmosphere, favourable conditions, fresh air, and a strong desire to learn created the psychological and didactic environment needed for students to develop an interest in foreign language acquisition, explore the global culture of their peers, and utilize English for these purposes. Through English, students enhanced their memory and laid the foundation for an appreciation of linguistic and cultural diversity worldwide.

The club, led by Senior Lecturer Mykola Koromysel, helps students develop the ability to use English as a tool for communication in the dialogue between cultures and civilizations of the modern world.

During club sessions, students improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities, recognize the practical significance of English in communication, acquire additional academic and professional information, and spend their free time productively. The club prepares students for participation in events conducted in English, fosters their personal development, self-awareness, and self-expression. The work program of the club complements and deepens classroom materials, promotes stronger assimilation of knowledge, establishes a connection between studies and real life, and encourages students to actively engage in communication.

The improvement, deepening, and expansion of English proficiency is achieved through active communicative speech activity, in an atmosphere of trust, informality, and friendliness, creating a motivational foundation for limitless communication.
