Research Institute of Animal Health

   Research Institute of Animal Health as a branch of the Education and Research Institute of Veterinary Medicine, Quality and Safety of Animal Products of NULES of Ukraine was established on November 1, 2001. Research activities of academicians, doctoral students, postgraduate students and students are aimed at providing veterinary welfare, quality and safety of animal products in Ukraine. By 2008 it was headed by Doctor of Veterinary Science, Academician of NAAS of Ukraine, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Professor G.O. Khmelnytskyi. From 2008 to 2010, the institute was headed by Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Corresponding Member of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences of Ukraine, Honored Scientist of Ukraine, Professor A.Y. Mazurkiewich. From 2011 to 2012, the Head of the Institute was Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, laureate of the Russian Federation Government Prize for Science and Technology, V.V. Nedosyekov. Since October 2012, Research Institute of Animal Health is headed by Doctor of Veterinary Sciences, Professor, Academician of Academy of Sciences of Higher Education of Ukraine, Dmytro A. Zasekin.
