The scientific activity of the Department is aimed at the innovative processes’ development, technologies and equipment with a sufficient reliability and durability levels for the agricultural products processing.
The Department developed technique for the diesel fuel producing, pectin-containing pastes from vegetable raw materials making, methods for sugar juices cleaning and canning under the electrohydraulic effect influence, processes for optimizing the parameters of machines and equipment for processing agricultural products, etc. methods for researching thermophysical characteristics of substances and materials, energy saving and energy efficiency in food production.
