International internship programmes

Approximate programmes of international internships:

To participate in internship programmes abroad, you must apply:

  • the completed application form and attach the required list of documents;
  • application form No. 1, certified by the dean of the faculty, should be submitted together with the application form;
  • Application No. 2, certified by the dean of the faculty and the hostel commander, should be submitted after receiving confirmation of participation in the programme 2-3 weeks before departure

    During the interview, students will take a written test in English, German or French.

    Internship is one of the forms of practical training that is a mandatory component of the educational and professional training programme for obtaining a qualification level and is conducted in accordance with the Regulations on Internships for Students of Higher Education Institutions of Ukraine, approved by Order of the Ministry of Education of Ukraine No. 93 dated 8 April 1993 (registered with the Ministry of Justice of Ukraine on 30 April 1993 under No. 35).

    The purpose of internship abroad is to facilitate the integration of national agricultural education into the global educational space by consolidating students' theoretical knowledge and studying practical experience in modern agriculture using the latest technologies in countries with a developed agricultural sector.

    The procedure for students' participation in internship programmes abroad is regulated by the Regulations on the internship of students of agricultural higher education institutions of Ukraine abroad approved by Order No. 264 of the Ministry of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine dated 15.06.2005, and the relevant Regulations on the participation of students of NUBiP of Ukraine in international programmes of educational and production practices and internships abroad approved by the Rector of NUBiP of Ukraine.

    The following are allowed to participate in internship abroad:

    • 2-3 year students and first-year students studying under integrated curricula (shortened term), as well as first-year master's students and postgraduate students who have registered for internship programmes abroad;
    • students who successfully study and take an active part in the social life of the university;
    • students who have a high level of knowledge of a foreign language, which is certified by a relevant certificate.

    Candidates for participation in international internship programmes abroad are selected on the basis of an open competition and the conclusions of the host party. The main criteria for selecting persons from among those wishing to participate in internship programmes abroad are:

    • academic performance (grade point average of at least 4.0);
    • professional orientation of the applicants and the conclusion of the representatives of the host party;
    • absence of adverse behaviour in everyday life;
    • knowledge of a foreign language, which is confirmed by a relevant certificate;
    • social activity and social status of the candidates (orphans, semi-orphans, students from multi-child families - upon the recommendation of public organisations);
    • availability of a international passport;
    • a driving licence.

    The type, duration and timing of internships abroad are determined depending on the specific field of study and the curriculum.
