Scientific and scientific-methodical work of the department
The department conducts scientific research in three directions: regulated synthesis of individual and nitrogen-containing phosphates of a given composition and biological action; development of theoretical foundations of electrochemical determination of biogenic elements in environmental objects; study of indicators of quality and safety of water use in agriculture and waste water sludge utilization.
On the basis of the scientific direction "Chemistry of phosphates and polyphosphates" the performance of experimental and applied research has been developed: more than 200 new substances have been synthesized and their biological and electret activity tested; received more than 200 patents for inventions; 9 candidates of chemical sciences and 2 doctors of chemical sciences were trained.
According to the scientific direction of "Electrochemical analysis" and in the laboratory of "Water quality" in the last 10 years: - a new model of chronoionometry analyzer with programmable control for the determination of 20 elements was created; methods of measuring Pb, Cu, Zn, Sn, Cd, Hg, As, Ni, Co, Mn, Fe, Se, Cr, I, K, Na, Ca, F, NH4+ and NO3- with their attestation were developed; It was developed an IT method of integrated assessment of water quality (use for PhD); 1 Candidate of Chemical Sciences and 1 Doctor of Technical Sciences were prepared.
The department published about 100 WoS scientific articles, 35 Scopus scientific articles.
