Project objective: To improve the quality of agri-food products in countries that have become associate members of the European Union by improving the training of specialists.
Project tasks:

To create specialised master's programmes in laboratory practice for specialists in the agri-food sector;

To create specialised courses for postgraduate training of laboratory staff;

To update the training provided by laboratories;

To develop new practices for cooperation between laboratories and universities on the basis of mutual benefit. 

Project objectives:

Develop specialisation standards for ‘Laboratory Practice’ for master's degrees in veterinary medicine, agronomy, animal production and processing technology, and food technology, developed in cooperation between universities and laboratories on the basis of mutual benefit;

Develop curricula and study plans: existing programmes supplemented with new subjects defined in accordance with the recommendations;

Prepare groups of trainers from university lecturers and laboratory specialists;

Develop courses for postgraduate training of employees of laboratories in the agri-food sector;

Use tools for ongoing cooperation between universities and existing labs: get lab experts involved in the learning process, organise practical courses by labs with visits to their departments and companies, and create an international platform for ongoing info sharing between lab experts and higher education teachers.
