Department of Applied Biology, Animal Breeding and Genetics
The department specializes in teaching courses in genetics, breeding, selection, and animal biotechnology, as well as conducting scientific research on issues related to improving the productivity of all animal species.
The department's objectives are:
· to conduct all types of educational, scientific, methodological, scientific, cultural, and educational work in the process of training specialists for bachelor's and master's degrees in the following specialties: 204 “Technology of production and processing of livestock products,” 207 “Aquatic Bioresources and Aquaculture,” 211 “Veterinary Medicine”;
· to introduce the results of scientific and technological progress into animal husbandry; -to train scientific personnel through postgraduate and doctoral programs in the following specialties: 204 – Technology of Production and Processing of Livestock Products;
· improving the qualifications of scientific and teaching staff and specialists in the field of animal husbandry;
· conducting educational work with students and listeners of the University;
· carrying out other activities in accordance with the University Charter Department staff train specialists:
· at the Bachelor's degree level in the specialties “Technology of production and processing of livestock products,” “Aquatic bioresources and aquaculture,” and “Public health”;
· Master's degree in the specialties “Technologies of Production and Processing of Livestock Products” and “Veterinary Medicine.”
