On March 22nd, 2019 Regional Eastern Europe Fire Monitoring Center has applied for inclusion in the Network of European hubs for civil protection and crisis management.
On January 29th CEO of European Commission “Humanitarian aid” presented a work plan in the field of civil protection of European Union for 2019. Particularly, two contests for selection of projects for financing within the framework of Civil protection mechanism of EU will be held. Representors from Ukraine are also allowed to take part in the contest.
The contest is aimed at readiness for civil protection and response on all kinds of natural disasters, which includes forest fires as well.
