History of the Department

The Department of Land Resources Management as an independent structural unit of the National Agrarian University was established on June 29, 2000.

The first head of the department and its founder was Anton Mykolayovych Tretyak, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAAS of Ukraine; since 2001, the department has been headed by Anatoliy Stepanovych Danylenko, in 2008 the department was headed by Olga Stepanovych Dorosh, PhD, Associate Professor; from 2009 to 2015, the department was headed by Dmytro Semenovych Dobryak, Doctor of Economic Sciences, Professor, Corresponding Member of the NAAS of Ukraine. Currently, the department is headed by Olga Stepanovych Dorosh.

Since the foundation of the department, a number of highly qualified teachers and scientists have worked at it, who also made a significant contribution to its formation and development: Krapivner Mykhailo Oleksandrovych, Zholkievsky Petro Frantsevich, Kryvov Volodymyr Mykolayovych, Budziak Vasyl Myronovych, Dorosh Yosyp Myroslavovych and others.

The department is a graduate department, formed from highly qualified scientific and pedagogical workers who train specialists in geodesy and land management.
