NUBiP students became prizewinners of the All-Ukrainian competition of scientific papers

The National University of Life Resources and Environmental Sciences of Ukraine proudly announces the significant achievement of its students in the all-Ukrainian scientific arena! Students Veronika Bozhok and Viktoriya Hryshchenko became prizewinners of the All-Ukrainian competition of student scientific papers "Scientific Initiatives of Land Resources Management", winning an honorary diploma of the 3rd degree. This prestigious competition, organized on the basis of the State University of Trade and Economics (DTEU) with the support of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine, is a key platform for young researchers studying issues of rational use of land resources. The competition covers such critically important areas as GIS technologies, remote sensing, and ecological and economic aspects of land use.

The girls received a high evaluation from the jury and an honorable third place for their thorough work on the topic “Application of the automated Bodenprobenehmer N2006 complex in qualitative soil assessment”. Under the guidance of Associate Professor Yevhen Volodymyrovych Butenko, the young researchers brilliantly demonstrated how the use of the innovative N2006 complex allows for significantly increasing the accuracy and efficiency of soil sample selection and analysis. Their research is an important step in the development of precision agriculture in Ukraine, as it provides detailed electronic maps of soil properties. This, in turn, is critically important for differentiated fertilizer application, optimization of cultivation and, most importantly, preservation and increase of the fertility of Ukrainian soils in conditions of intensive agricultural production.

The obtained diploma of the III degree is a vivid confirmation of the high level of professional training of the students of NUBiP of Ukraine, their ability to conduct deep, practically oriented scientific research and successfully compete with the best young scientists of the country. This success also emphasizes the significant contribution of the scientific supervisor, Yevhen Volodymyrovych Butenko, to the development of student science. We sincerely congratulate Veronika Bozhok, Viktoriya Hryshchenko and their mentor on this significant achievement and wish them further scientific breakthroughs and inexhaustible inspiration in the field of land resources management!
