Since the foundation of the department, scientific and pedagogical workers have been training scientific personnel. In total, 7 doctors of economic sciences, 14 candidates of economic sciences have been trained in the specialty 08.00.06 - "Economics of environmental management and environmental protection". Currently, the department is training 5 candidates for the scientific degree of Doctor of Philosophy (third educational and scientific level of higher education) - field of knowledge 05 "Social and behavioral sciences", specialty 051 "Economics", direction of training - "Economics of environmental management and environmental protection".
