Department of Management of Land Resources

The Department of Land Resources Management is a structural unit of the Faculty of Land Management of the National University of Life Resources and Environmental Management of Ukraine, trains specialists for the OS "Bachelor", "Master" in the specialty 193 "Geodesy and Land Management", field of knowledge 19 "Architecture and Construction", and also trains applicants for the third educational and scientific level of higher education for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy (field of knowledge 05 "Social and Behavioral Sciences", specialty 051 "Economics", direction of training - "Economics of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection".
For many years, the department has been one of the leading centers of land management science and education in Ukraine. The mission of the department is obvious - providing students with knowledge that meets the modern needs and requirements of the labor market, which is achieved by improving the quality of the educational process, expanding access to educational services as key criteria for increasing the competitiveness of the department.
The chosen approach will allow students - future specialists in geodesy and land management to make responsible management decisions related to: reforming the system of land resources bodies in the context of decentralization of power in Ukraine; to make effective decisions on the organization of economically efficient and environmentally safe agricultural land tenure and land use in market conditions; to make responsible engineering decisions on the integration of natural resource management; to master the mechanisms of rational use and protection of land and be able to apply tools for their implementation, to acquire skills in monitoring land use.
The department is a graduate department, formed from highly qualified scientific and pedagogical workers who train specialists in geodesy and land management.
