Microbiological diagnostic methods in animal husbandry and veterinary medicine
The purpose of the program is training highly qualified specialists in laboratory diagnostics of infectious diseases of animals, microbiological (bacteriological, virological) research of raw materials and food products, animal feed and environmental objects.
The basic task of the program is the formation of ecological and biological thinking in future specialists, the knowledge of the essence of possible phenomena caused by microorganisms (viruses) in the body of animals, raw materials, food products and various objects of the environment, mastering modern methods of detection of microorganisms.
Implementation of the goal and objectives of the program are performed by assimilating modern theoretical data and provisions on the biology and ecology of microorganisms and viruses, knowing the essence and mastering laboratory methods of their detection. At the same time, the methodological principles are students' assimilation of basic technological elements related to objects of laboratory analysis, current (state and international) standards regarding animal husbandry products and microbiological (virological) research.
