Candidate of Economic Sciences since 2005. Defended her candidate's thesis on October 19, 2004 in the specialty 08.08.01 - economics of natural resources and environmental protection on the topic: "Improving land resources management at the regional level".
Doctor of Economic Sciences since 2013. Defended her doctoral thesis on May 30, 2013 in the specialty 08.00.06 - economics of natural resources and environmental protection on the topic: "Territorial planning of land use in the conditions of land relations: theory, methodology and practice".
The scientist's scientific interests include the following problems: institutional aspects of ensuring transparency of land relations; land management as a tool for managing land resources and ensuring sustainable land use; development of concepts for rational use and protection of land through territorial planning; reforming land resources bodies in the context of decentralization and market transformation; territorial planning in the context of sustainable development and spatial organization of land resources; the impact of climate change and anthropogenic factors on the spatial development of territories; land protection as a basis for ensuring environmental safety and sustainable development.
Takes direct part in the implementation of the Scientific Research Program No. 38 "Ensuring land management and cadastre" ("Land management"). Implementation period 2021-2025, the main executing institution is the Institute of Land Use of the NAAS of Ukraine, namely:

Given the wide range of scientific interests and the results of fruitful research activities, the scientist has published 228 scientific and educational and methodological works. Among them are 194 scientific publications, including 4 textbooks, 16 monographs (of which 2 are solo) and 34 educational and methodological developments created in co-authorship. Scientific achievements include 20 publications indexed in the leading scientometric databases Scopus (13) and Web of Science (7). Also, in the period 2021–2024, 7 certificates of copyright registration for works created in co-authorship were received.
She actively transfers her professional skills and achievements to applicants for the third educational and scientific level of higher education. During 2014–2024, under her scientific supervision, three candidates of economic sciences in the specialty 08.00.06 - "Economics of natural resources and environmental protection" and two doctors of philosophy in the field of knowledge 05 "Social and behavioral sciences" and specialty 051 "Economics" were successfully trained.
The topics of scientific research of applicants are aimed at solving current problems, in particular:
• economic and environmental instruments of state administration of rational use and protection of lands;
• management of land resources and land use as an economic function of land ownership;
• institutional support for the formation of land use in newly formed territorial communities;
• ecological and economic development of territorial communities: parametric support;
• ecological and economic principles for the formation of recreational land use within water protection zones.
Some studies, in particular the two most recent works, focus on finding ways to overcome environmental land use problems caused by military actions in Ukraine.
She is a member of the specialized academic council D 26.004.20, which has the right to consider and conduct the defense of dissertations for the degree of Doctor and Candidate of Economic Sciences in the specialty 08.00.06 - "Economics of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection". For many years, she served as the chairman of this council. In 2023, she headed the one-time specialized academic council RSVR 039, created to defend dissertations for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in the field of knowledge 05 "Social and Behavioral Sciences" and specialty 051 - "Economics".
During 2015–2023, she acted as an official opponent in the defense of theses:
• 2 Doctors of Economic Sciences in the specialty 08.00.06 - "Economics of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection",
• 6 Candidates of Economic Sciences in the specialty 08.00.06 - "Economics of Natural Resources and Environmental Protection",

Her expert opinions and participation in scientific discussions contribute to maintaining a high level of training of scientific personnel in the field of natural resources and environmental protection.
She is a member of the editorial board of the scientific and production journal "Land Management, Cadastre and Land Monitoring", which is a professional publication in the field of land management, cadastre, land management and land monitoring. The journal covers current issues of science and practice in these areas, contributing to the dissemination of modern research and innovations
