THE EDUCATIONAL AND SCIENTIFIC LABORATORY OF ECONOMIC THEORY AND BIOECONOMY SHOWED SCIENTIFIC DEVELOPMENTS IN THE CITY OF BOLOGNA, ITALY WITHIN THE FRAMEWORK OF THE INTERNATIONAL FORUM ON INDUSTRIAL BIOTECHNOLOGY AND BIOECONOMY

   The educational and scientific laboratory of economic theory and bioeconomy, the department of economic theory of the faculty of agricultural management of the National University of life and environmental sciences of Ukraine continue to prepare for the Global Bioeconomy Summit, which will take place on October 23-24, 2024 in Nairobi, Kenya!
   A forum organized by SPRING (Italian Cluster of Circular Bioeconomy) and InnovHub was held as part of the world forum. Federchimica-Assobiotec as co-organizer. The partner event is organized in cooperation with the Enterprise Europe Network. Local partners: IFIB is approved by ITA (Italian Trade Agency) IFIB is supported by LGCA (Lombardy Green Cluster Association).
   On the first day of the summit, it is planned to consider the role and impact of bioeconomy on politics, economy and ecology in different countries. Much attention is paid to the development of a sustainable circular bioeconomy, the introduction of biological processes in industry, force majeure research and the impact of globalization on the development of the bioeconomy.
   The forum was opened by our old friend and partner Mario Bonaccorso, Cluster SPRING (Italy). Giovanni Savini, representing the Ministry of Enterprise and Development of Italy, emphasized the significant impact of the bioeconomy on economic growth. Innovations for improving the health of the planet were presented in a report by Jens Nielsen, Institute for Bioinnovation (Denmark). Sustainable solutions that change the lives of consumers and experience: material innovation - opportunities and challenges was emphasized by Christian Langes, ICF (USA) and are we ready for the biorevolution? Possibilities and problems of investing in the bioeconomy, speaker Josko Bobanovych, Sofinnova Partners (France). An interesting report on enabling the world's transition to ecologically clean materials by Alex Ward, Origin Materials (USA).
   Giovanni Sannia from Italy spoke about stimulating innovation in the EU bioeconomy and the biotechnological sector. Ana Ruiz Sierra, CBE JU (Belgium) on Sustainable Biochemicals to Transform Chemical Value Chains at Full Industrial Scale: UPM Leuna Biorefinery.
   Niklas von Weimarn, Metsä Spring (Finland) on the use of biodegradable and compostable materials in agriculture: vision and perspective. Sarah Guerrini, Novamont (Italy) challenges of scaling innovation in the circular bioeconomy and how to deal with them.
   Steph Denayer, BBEPP (Belgium) paving the way to a carbon negative future Sami-Pekka Rantanen, MetGen (Finland). Advanced Flexible Substrates Business Leader Gianluca Belotti, Stahl (Netherlands).
   Educational and Scientific Laboratory of Economic Theory and Bioeconomy, Department of Economic Theory of the Faculty of Agrarian Management jointly held a meeting with Patricia Chircelli, CiaoTech, Italy, who reported on the role of value chains in the bioeconomy: the key, examples of EU-funded projects.
